Newport County Away Support

Wed Dec 26, 2012 3:54 pm

Taken 1000 today to Forest Green Rovers. Brilliant support.

1200 to the short trip to Hereford on the weekend apparently.

Know that there's some bad blood between us and County but would love to seem them back in the Football League.

It's more than 1200 to Hereford from what my Kewnty loving family and friends tell me. Apparently likely to be 1800.

There are blokes going mate who haven't bothered following Kewnty since the 80's just because it's Hereford and they were bitter rivals back in the day. Average home support has fack all to do with fack all for this game.

bunch of wa*kers those lot,

They absolutely hate cardiff with a passion yet most of our lot wish them good luck getting to the football league
Tell you wat if we play them at county anytime soon it wil be worse than any recent game against swansea or millwall

Re: Newport County Away Support

It won't be worse because quite frankly, how many lads would Cardiff turn out? they would come in their droves whilst Cardiff wouldn't bother.

that they would. so would some of the older ones who remember but outside of cardiff itself Swansea are the enemy. The valleys and the outlying areas don't see them as a rival. I could be wrong but I'm only going on my experience of the last time they came.

i know where your coming from mate but the young ones from the valleys who support cardiff are always up for it no matter who we play so with it being a welsh team and many of us hate newport people anyway something would happen if we play them, it would be a bubble trip anyway id imagine ?

When to see them a day after the Huddersfield game, they had 3,000 I think, really great support.

They cant f*cking stand Cardiff, they are more bitter than the jacks. but if i lived in newport i would be f*cking suicidal.

Re: Newport County Away Support

Don't know where the bad blood came from, they get3,000 now that's all they got in the football league surely we could roll them over?Back in the day ,they was always applying for re-election and half the crowd for their last match would be Cardiff.

Lets be honest most football fans in Newport support Cardiff so lets be realistic and say there won't be any trouble if we play each other and perhaps we can all grow up a bit and enjoy the moment trouble free.

Let's behonest most Cardiff fans that live in newport do so for the quality of life
Easy road links to London Birmingham. Vibrant nightlife some great places to visit
Lliswery pond , Pill and Bettus. It must be hard for our poor neighbours in the capital to see lots of kardiffians
Leaving the city to relocate to Wales most popular and growing city !!
