It's just a browser then, put the website link in the browser and your away, a little slow sometimes loading up, but once you are there it plays flash content websites including ccplayer.

Bugger all works on the Ipad. Bought an Ipad 3 back in the summer and thought it was one of the biggest wastes of my money ever. Seeing as most apps are flash based, some silly sod at Apple thought it would be clever not to allow any Apple product the right to use Flash.
I had enough of it and gave it to the missus, then went out for xmas and treated myself to a brand new laptop, which imo is leaps and bounds ahead of any Ipad.

I'm yet to come across an app that requires flash to operate.

The Ipad uses HTMl.5 for its apps. Most pc applications use Flash for gaming, streaming of radio stations etc. That leaves you buggered if you want to use Facebook games on the Ipad, or watch news and listen to Radio articles on the sport and news sites on the BBC. Plus they did away with that superb Google maps and gave us some crock of shit Tom Tom maps app ?
I think Apple have lost the plot. I might consider another table in the future from Google Nexus or Nokia. But for me Ipad didn't live up to the hype, and much prefer my new Laptop.

I don't play Facebook games lol.
Video works fine on bbc and sky websites. Along with streaming bbc radio stations. Doesn't require flash.
You can also watch live bbc news through the bbc news app.

You should give some Facebook games a go dude honest, Song Pop is really addictive. It's basically guess the song or artist by listening to samples of real songs quicker than your friends can. You can earn coins so you can choose from genres, or decades of music. It's real fun and very popular on Facebook
Granted some stuff on the BBC site works, but not all of it. Try listening to a snipet of Malky talking post match about a game on the match report and it says you need adobe flash to listen to this content. I seem to be able to watch all of Sky content as well. But most sites that I Visit simply wont work due to needing Flash enabled.
