meant to post this a bit back.the sunday side i have a little involvement with were involved in a cup that voted(by the members)to use roll on roll off subs.my mate who is boss of the team voted for the idea.only draw back was he didn,t have a full bench so it cost him that day.what do people think of the idea in general.?i can see happening in the football league/prem in time.maybe tried out in cup games first.could keep beckham and whitts playing till they 63

Don't think it's THAT bad an idea, although saying that I don't think we'll see it anytime soon, nor would I want to. The only place I can imagine it happening is pre season friendlies, just to it easier to rotate. But no, not in any competitive tournament. They do use it in the AFL (Aussie Rules) and it's really good for teams to keep players fit, although saying that the pitch is 200x100 and it is physically way more intense than football so it's a neccessity.

I think rugby league have been doing for a while now. Not my cup of tea to be honest.

The game would need 15 minutes of added time, considering it takes atleast a minute for a player to walk off the pitch.

Didnt mean to be so blunt. Got fucked over with a ticket for today. Stuck in a pub in canton. But i just think it would take away the fitness side of the game
