MY 300 PLUS MILES FOR HOME GAME TOMORROW

Tue Dec 25, 2012 6:47 pm

And can't wait for the privilege. Off to Stoke at 8.30 to pick up my son, and the straight back for the Palace game, hopefully the result and performance will make it all worthwhile, still high from leicester, please keep feeding the fire. BlooooooooooooooBirds.

Lightweight

Seriously though, well done, I take my hat off to all our exiles, a half hour journey home after a crap performance is bad enough, but for those that have traveled hours for the privilege, you deserve a medal.

I do over 300 miles every home game as well. On the other hand I don't do many away games. I take my hat off to those who travel away week in week out. It's much easier being an exiled fan than many would think. I don't complain.

Few years ago, old boy sat behind me travelled from Preston for every home game. Think it must have finished him off cos I don't see him no more :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Well i don't go to all away games since i can't afford it, only about 5 a season, so it's no more committed to come back for home games than those who travel to every away game each season, they're the ones i take my hat off to. :ayatollah:

Hate the journey back to Derby when we lose. Guarantee I will bump into the victorios away supporters on our pit stop.

Once bumped into the Swansea team at our pit stop. We had lost to Forest 2-0 and I was not in a good mood. Just about to walk into the srvice station when that Sinclair appeared before me. he is a right skinny chap, could have quite easily knocked him out of the way. He saw I looked pissed off and quickly stepped out of my way.

Just about to start the 186 miles from Wigan. Not only watching the game but doing the photography for the club.

Well worth it if we get 3 points today!

He's just looking for a bit of praise. Lots of city fans travel lots of miles for games. :ayatollah:

You sad pathetic excuse for a man, why would me having to travel 300 miles to pick my son up mean I'm looking for praise, he's my son, and its my duty, the football is incidental and I choose to tab that on to the end of my trip, I live twelve miles from the stadium, so why would I be searching for praise, you really are pissing me off now, sad wormy little man, karma will win the day, speak soon.

well why start a thread like this in the first place if you weren't looking for praise..? Like many others when I was living in London I was a season ticket holder and travelled back for many of the games but it was my decision and I enjoyed my time up there. However due to the re-brand I now live 4 miles away and refuse to go anymore until they go back blue.

I just don't see the need to publically announce the fact that you're travelling all that way, many do it for every game!
