Get behind Kev Mcnaughton

Mon Dec 24, 2012 8:37 am

Kev has been a great servant to the club, but his best days seem to be behind him. If he is selected to start on Boxing Day then all the crowd should get behind him from the start, that should give him a massive confidence booster.

Hopefully malky sees this thread and also makes sure someone gets behind McNaughton, definitely needs a bit of cover in case he has another bad game. ;)

He can still defend and thats wot we need most from our defenders :old:

He's not a spent force just needs a run of games.Best defender we got, he could never pass or cross, like the rest of our defenders. At least Gerards gone i don't miss his endless boot the ball down the middle as hard as you can, although Turner is following in his footsteps.

Even if he has a nightmare he will get my full support as he always gives his all. He is one of the few from the DJ regime that can hold their heads high and say they always gave 100%.

kevin mcnaughton is one of a rare breed of players,he never ever gives less than 100% ,he never hides in games doesnt go into his shell if things are not working for him, never shies away from putting his body on the line for his team.So if any so called fan wants to have a pop at him you are an idiot  :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It's not Kev I'm worried about against Palarse. Although his passing and contribution going forward has been below par, the lad can tackle.

Andrew Taylor on the other hand needs to be at his best, we've seen him get skinned all too often this season.

i think under malky kevin`s flaws have been highlighted because under dave jones all he had to do was defend ... malky like him right up there and his final ball is shite .... as a defender though kev is outstanding!

I must admit I thought Kev was finished as a CCFC player but against Palace he did a number on Zaha, the one thing I've never doubted with Kev his is commitment on the pitch.
