My point is the people talking stats are making a completely erroneous comparison as the two players are in their respective teams to do totally different jobs.

It's the equivalent of asking how many penalty saves Craig Noone has made over his career compared to Michel Vorm.

Whittingham, who walked through the game yesterday, spent most of the day moving into places behind a posh player so as not to be able to take a pass. And played the game a safe 30 yards from where he would make any difference going forward.

So,Peter...........watch Britton and note how hard he runs to get into space to receive the ball. And note what he does once he has given a pass......he runs into space to try and be available to get the ball back.

Since Villa "got rid of him" he has retrained into a different player and is totally different to the player they got rid of. In fact, many Villa fans wish they had him back now.

He was the subject of several transfer bids from premiership sides, but chose to remain loyal and stay at Cardiff. Not often seen in the modern game today.

For a start, both players are completely different, so comparing them is futile. If you look above, your fellow Jacks allude to that themselves.

Several sides over the years have come in for Whitts, most recently Fulham in the summer.
