it was only due to our cup success and ticket schemes that our attendances then reached what it is now. So if theirs is plastic due to increased demand upon success then you also deem ours to be the same by that very same logic.
Unless of course there's a huge slice of bias in your summary - which as you know I hold no credence for.

Or perhaps you lot should come up with some sort of credible argument.
Although that appears unlikely.
It is a credible argument. We beat your attendances, despite being in the league below you & despite a controversial rebranding scheme which has alienated fans.
How hard is it to understand that a) Our ground is sold out for every single game, and b) Your official attendance figures are way off the mark due to thousands of ST holders not turning up.
We have more ST holders than you and have consistently had bigger attendances than you(except one season when you had a new stadium) , especially when in the same division.
Because you were able to sell them off the back of a couple of cup finals, and a play off final. not because people wanted to see you in the Championship
Do I really need to point out, that in the SAME division, during YOUR promotion season, CCFC had 8,000 average more fans than you?
See above replies
Infact, some games you only got 11k... You only ever sold out one game a season (guess who that was) & yet you say your support isn't plastic?
By that definition, everyone who now supports you who didn't bother going when you were regularly getting crows of 3k in the dungeon is also a plastic

Only 10% of the attendance are not season ticket holders or away fans, and those 10% that are able to buy match day tickets have to have enough points by going to all the games previous in the prem campaign.
So if a Liverpool fan wanted a ticket for the game he'd either have to pay £500 odd for it by buying a season ticket - and only then if he had been to most of the previous years games.
They will know your post is fishing before they finish reading. It's simply impossible and they will obviously know this.

It's embarrassing that some people still feel the need to care about nothing things like this. Swansea have been in the top flight for almost 18 months now and are competing well. I look forward to renewing our derby vows alongside them next season. As rival fans go they've definitely got one up on us since they won the playoff final. There isn't an argument strong enough for any Cardiff fan until we meet them again
But the weirdest thing of all on these forums - that ridiculous specimen still pretending to be a Cardiff fan. Jesus Christ you're in the top ten of the premier league - but still he's too ashamed to admit being a jack

Why because you are in the premier?
The 3 teams that came down are struggling big time. Take away the top 4 or 5 and the premier looks over rated.

No, I don't think they would struggle.

Actually I hope we draw youin the cup, you will be in for a surprise just like we gave Liverpool a shock.
Wigan, QPR, Sunderland, Aston Villa, possible Newcastle now.....

I hope we draw you as well, at your place. Just so you can see the gulf in class in person.
Qpr will pick up now Redknapp is there. Wigan are underrated. Sunderland and Villa are not great but still better than anything in the Championship. Newcastle are just on a bad run, their class will shine though. If you'd said Reading I may have agreed.

Sheffield Wednesday have bigger crowds, ground, and have won more trophies than you so Dave Jones must be delighted he isnt still your Manager and top of the league.
Our ground was planned when we were in league two, yours after a FA cup final and years of Championship football, yours is a few thousand bigger but to be honest I would rather watch Pablo Hernandez, sit 8th in PL, be owned by fans and make 14m profit. Oh and have one of the worlds biggest names as our manager.
Got to be honest lads I don't lose much sleep over attendances after all we have sold every seat since we got promoted so at present we cant do much more. As someone with a season everybody around me has been there since the stadium was built, so if there is the odd plastic then they haven't crossed my path, and if people honestly think Liverpool fans in S Wales would pay £450 for a season tkt to see one game then I'm sorry you need help.
Anyway you lot are looking very strong in a poor division, is it me or is the championship getting worse each year?

If your stadium was built on pre cup final crowds and pre championship crowds it would have been 20,000 tops. Unless a cup game against Leeds was used?

Because you haven't and your last game proves it. If there was such demand for tickets then those extra seats made available would have been snapped up instantly. Many jacks claim there is a waiting list for seasons tickets, so I can't see how they weren't sold. As I have said, they are based on memberships and attendances over a given period, then building a stadium based on potential fans. We have over 50,000 members and this may seem bollucks to you but you ask any new Cardiff fan or a new member what his or her fan number is and it will be around the 50,000 mark, maybe higher. Now being an ambitious club, a stadium had to be built for a potential fan base of around that number. 27,000 for this stage, going to 35,000 and perhaps even higher if successful.

Can you read?
Maybe if I use BIG LETTERS. OUR LAST GAME SOLD OUT. WBA sold HALF of what Liverpool sold, we had to have a bigger segregation and yet the crowd was only 250 less DUE TO SEGREGATION. HOME TICKETS SOLD OUT.
So 50,000+ members and yet you couldnt sell out a championship play off home leg.
