Ths is how it all started
1) If you we're a cardiff fan would it matter if tan were a true billionaire, the guy is undeniably wealthy. Mute point
he is wealthy yes, unfortunately for us he hasn't assigned all of his wealth into the name of Cardiff cityany money he decides to put into the club he has contacts drawn up in the manner that we owe him every penny back plus 7%. It wouldn't matter if he was a gazillionaire and that's what city fans need to realise.
Thank you for agreeing.
2) Did you buy your house with cash or was it a crippling loan, what are the alternatives? Go into administration, drop out of league football. If you were a cardiff fan would you want that?
i bought my house via a mortgage that I could afford. Cardiff have borrowed money they can't afford to pay back. The result of that is liquidation, ceasing to trade, not existing anymore. If we went into administration it would mean we would have a ropey team in the championship.
Lucky you, but I borrowed beyond my means at the time, fortunately my salary increased over the last few years where the debt is now manageable, speculated to accumulate. Think that's the strategy here.
Of course I'd prefer administration you plum.

[color=#0040FF]in the premier league we will still be losing £20m a year. Unlike your imaginary new job, being in the prem the outgoings increase just as much as the income meaning it makes us no better off financially. Do the math.

Indeed.
And I'll always post regarding my club and you bet your bottom dollar (us or australian, I'm not bothered) that I'm obsessed. A shame we don't have more real fans out there instead of sellouts.
whats a real fan whats a sell out?? myself dont care about badge /shirt only name cardiff city! so what does that make me??? honest anser plse
A sellout is a person that only wants to see local premier league football and fill their autograph books knowing that it will kill the club, but it's a sacrifice they are willing to take.... While throwing in the clubs historic colours and badge to boot.
A real fan is one that takes a stand and the club always comes first over anything, including premiership football. A real fan would rather walk on hot coals rather than give away our badge and colours for a bit of cash.
I would prefer to see my team play in blue and keep the bluebird, but i,m prepared to go with the investment to see where it takes us, (hopefully debt to equity) so are you telling me that i'm a sellout?????
Absolutely a sell out.
First debt to equity doesn't exist, not to the tune of the debt we are in now.
Secondly even if tan decides to magically waive the £100m debt we are still losing £20m a year and will be back in the same position in 4 to 5 seasons time.
The loans (more accurate word than investment as for some reason football fans see investment as cash gifts) are only leading us to our death and any financial advisor will tell you the same.

My grandad cheated on my grandma after 47 years of marriage and all sorts of financial support, it destroyed her. But he turned his back on her and get his head turned by a younger version. Who then divorced him and rinsed him for his cash.
Just because you have supported city for a long time and spent money doing so it hasn't earned you the right to fritter the club away on a whim, and that is what anyone supporting the rebrand is doing.

Bingo!
Don't she bang on eh?
absolutely
Nauseously
Anyone really listening?
seems that way
The word really is the main word.
Fact is, even if she is 100% right, what we going to do?
get liquidated.
I meant us as fans
in that case I guess go and watch the rugby on a Saturday instead?
If and when it happens, I shall cross that bridge. But for now, I intend to bury my head in the sand, keep going as long as I can and stop reading your continual posts about the same subject.

Absolutely if you can direct me to a positive story.
Who in their right mind would make a positive out of us seeking more loans?

Doesn't matter, I've asked you a straight question and you say it doesn't matter ? I have to be honest mate, you are odd. You should take your support elsewhere, you aren't actually lobbying for anything, you aren't doing anything that I can see other than say you're a real fan. When your doom and gloom comes to fruition come back and say, I told you so. Otherwise I see not one reason for you to keep talking of liquidation on here. Doesn't matter. Why can't people understand that?
liquidation doesnt care whether we win the fa cup and championship by 50 points. Liquidation is liquidation.

The last thing we need is another "investor".
If VT and this sheikh fella decide to give us a few hundred million then great, but until then we need to concentrate on the team on the pitch and managing the debt.

No Smoking comes across as a bitter person (not sure why).
I still go to games, but spend no money on programmes, food or have even been in the club shop.
I do not agree with the massive debt problems (if true) but I support the team, and the politics of it all (although interesting) is beyond my control. I will continue to support the team. Do not like all this infighting (divide and conquer springs to mind).
It is foreign money coming into the club (and country) so is good for the local economy. HMRC are being paid, wages and taxes are being paid, people/suppliers have jobs and are being paid. The team are doing ok so all is well with the world as far as it concerns me.

What do you want me to say? My hoes are that we win the fa cup? Get promoted? Please understand, if we are losing £20m a year it doesn't matter if we win the FIFA World Cup does it?
I have no interest what happens on the pitch, I don't see how anyone can. My interest is purely the well being and finances of the club. We are losing £20m a year which is getting piled onto an already unserviceable £96m debt. I couldn't care less if we win 30 games in a row it makes no difference to what's happening off the field.
Once you understand that then maybe we should talk but it's pretty pointless at the moment as you clearly have no grasp of what's going on.

Me and others are staying away, we have not bought anything from the club since the rebrand and actively encourage others to do the same. At the start of this whole rebrand nonsense were very vocal in the opposition to it but were overwhelmed by sheer numbers of plastics who wanted to trade in our colours, badge and future for a possible glimpse of some stars down he CCS.
I will continue to try and educate people and hope people see sense sooner rather than later so we can meet our fate and get on with rebuilding instead of wasting a few more seasons of stagnant nothingness to tans shameless advertising campaign with Cardiff city being host to the parasite.
