Hopefully give us something else to talk about .First of all, some bad news. Rudy Gestede is once again on the treatment table and it looks like he'll be out for at least 3 weeks to a month - continuing the unfortunate catalogue of injuries for the young Frenchman

The"Mystery striker"that has earned seemingly cult status online recently and who CCFC are interested in is Nicky Maynard. His name has been out there for a while but now the wheels are in motion I'll pass on what I was told. Also we're in talks with a premier league club over a loan deal for a defender. The Kim-Bo Kyung deal is still very much on but the constant delay in the overseas paperwork is frustrating for all. The same goes for CB39 which is still ongoing. The majority of our support need some positive news ASAP and i'm sure it's just around the corner, but a couple of obstacles to hurdle yet( Shocking Olympic sized analogy

Well I threw a few off with the 'not English' bit

Cannot, cannot believe anyone is complaining about us going for Maynard. He has
been a thorn in our side every time he's played against us. You can pretty much
guarantee he'd get 20 in a decent side in this division. Thats all you can ask of a
striker. So if we get him... i think he will be the instinctive goalscorer we have
been missing for years. Chopra was great, but far too inconsistent.

As for Kim Bo. I believe the deal is pretty much tied up with HIM and his agent. I
think (hope) its too far down the line now for anyone else to jump in and scupper
it. Kim Bo wants his new British Club finalised before the end of the Olympics and
he's certainly not going to be meeting up with anyone else for the next few weeks is
he!!!!

As for Maynard?

God help City players nowadays. Our new breed of fan seem to think they are entitled
to sign Wayne Rooneys and David Villas. Why are we signing Kim Bo etc when there's
a perfectly good Iniesta out there... lets go for him. Thats the mentality of some on
here.

Fair play mate. Looks like we could be in for a dog fight to snap Maynard up but seeing as Malky is having a pearler this summer on his targets ratio, then anything is possible.
