I haven't suggested kimbo is the higher profile signing at all. Gareth bale is in a totally different situation. Tottenham finished in the top 4 meaning they would have normally qualified so why would he move? We are a championship club with no realistic possibility of finishing in the champions league places. If kimbo wanted to play at the highest possible level he would be playing for celtic as they are virtually guarenteed champions league football this season. Another point you touched on earlier as well was the standard of football, he would be better off there in that case because he would be that much better than the opposition in front of him.
