Oh, of course, at first there would be a show of anger and rebellion, but then they would say "meh I can live with the name change" and "who cares what they call us, they will always be Cardiff City to us". Some of our fans are pathetic and a disgrace to football. No wonder we are in the mess we are in

We need to wait and see what happens but i no we are all entitled to an opinion and mine is if you agree to radical change of colour and badge then you are just a sell out just my opinion.
You can stick your Red kit and badge change right up your arses.

We have been fighting for years for good finance, and now there's a chance of it coming some are still not satisfied, like I've said before some of you wake up angry and go to bed angry, if it wasn't this it would be something else,Monty Python 's words to thier song was "Allways look on the bright side of life" some fans should change that to "Allways look on the dark side of life".

Then maybe we should all buy front door mats with WELCOME on then wear them on are backs if that's what your afraid of because where does it end , if people think the owners will just walk away like there going to pack a box and leave then there wrong as they would lose everything they put in so far. That's why they would have to look at other investors if need be. Eitherway this threads gone mad over one mans opinion and it really shows how easy it is online for people to go way off the OP post to start with.

They wouldnt lose everything Bluebird as their loans to us at the moment are secured.
I have e-mailed the FA asking for clarification on the name change rule, im almost positive after the MK dons fiasco it was deemed not allowed. Ill post response when i get it.

I'm grateful to the Malaysians for keeping the club afloat for the past few years but I honestly hope they can find other investors who understand a bit about football identity and culture in the UK because tbh they have not got a clue.
i know what you are saying Alfie but when we go to away games we cheer on CCFC regardless of the shirt colour. I dislike red home shirts and wont buy my kids them but tbh i was more annoyed with white away kit last season.
Gareth, there is no way that it will just be left at red shirts though. The Malaysians have already showed scant regard for our identity and because so many fans have simply rolled over and accepted it, inevitably we will have a red stadium and maybe even a name change further down the line. As welcome as their cash has been over the past few years , I really hope that they are able to find another buyer asap. Take it from me once we are playing in red,in a red stadium, with a dragon badge we ain't ever going to get our identity back again.
Fight it. Keep Cardiff Blue.

Yes - I'd prefer it if they were called Cardiff City, playing in blue and known as the Bluebirds, but the 21st century is well and truly here now, and , reluctantly, we have to move on.
So just out of curiosity and I am not saying this will def happen, just say they were called say FC Malaysia, would you continue to support them ? I actually think your saying you would![]()
I would never set foot in there again, but thats just me.
Yes, I would actually. And I suspect plenty of others would if the team was successful - the demographics of football fans are changing. Of course, I may have to stop going anyway as the season tickets will probably go up tenfold!

Bollocks excuse.
We were an amateur side at that time with no stadium.
