This whole name change is just an assumption by us fans. It was never on the table for discussion.

No one has said they will change our name, all some are saying incl myself if they ever did, then I would never set foot in there again. But of course its crossed my mind, I even asked the question in the first meeting and the reply was they could not comment. 2nd meeting they said it wont happen.

If our name is changed and we become an advert for Aisa , which we almost are , I will become an armchair supporter like 90% of football fans. Maybe going to a couple of games a season but will not invest financialy in the club as I have done for many years. I will always support CCFC 100% but not in the same way. Merthyr may find its crowds increase as it will be a better footy day out with the lads with no plastics.

I'm afraid that if it's red shirts at home either this season or next I'll be packing it in. I support Cardiff City,the bluebirds,a team that play in blue at home.Happy enough to see one of the blue/red fusion kits but for crying out loud imagine going to Wembley and seeing City fans with loads of red flags,it's just nuts.It doesn't make any sense.

I'm grateful to the Malaysians for keeping the club afloat for the past few years but I honestly hope they can find other investors who understand a bit about football identity and culture in the UK because tbh they have not got a clue.

i know what you are saying Alfie but when we go to away games we cheer on CCFC regardless of the shirt colour. I dislike red home shirts and wont buy my kids them but tbh i was more annoyed with white away kit last season.

Gareth, there is no way that it will just be left at red shirts though. The Malaysians have already showed scant regard for our identity and because so many fans have simply rolled over and accepted it, inevitably we will have a red stadium and maybe even a name change further down the line. As welcome as their cash has been over the past few years , I really hope that they are able to find another buyer asap. I visited Thailand a few months back saw plenty of Chelsea posters and promotions. Didn't see many United, Liverpool or Arsenal stuff.

As I said I'm not sure what to make of it all. Think our main objective first is to get to the premier league, cement our place there then look to expand on a global scale. Who from Asia or worldwide is going to support a championship side?? I couldn't name any side who won the second division in any league in Europe so why would anyone know who we are? Yes wev been in 2 major finals the last couple of years and it gets us exposure but it doesn't mean shit if wer not in the premiership. Wer still only supported in South Wales and further afield in the UK.

Banks always get there money 1st as for the so called assets, the grounds not even ares 100%, the squad is worth nothing near the money the owners have put in so far and the land around the ground does not belong to us so like i said the OWNERS will lose money eitherway. Thats why they will not walk away but find other investors if they decide to leave as im sure the banks would eat up most of whatever money was there before anyone gets anything at a lower price or they will stay and do what they want with or without the fans .

I know a few that are doing that next year already tbh even though things might stay the same at are club. There bored of the lifeless grounds and people in them these days in the championship and have not felt the same about are club for a few years so i guess they have had enough for there own reasons
