I am glad all of you lot who want Welsh independence were,nt around when the Nazi,s invaded half of europe in the late 1930,s, otherwise we would,nt have had a British army to repel the Nazi onslaught.
The British army are united under the Union Jack flag, always have been and always will be.
The Welsh Dragon is also a fantastic flag that every welshman should rightly be proud of.
Look on your passport you we are all British citizens.
I am British and Welsh and proud of it, and come from a Welsh speaking family, We are a United Kingdom.

Yes great, Welsh guys getting killed , and there not even on the flag they die for ! and when they come back with missing legs arms , the goverment dont even bother with them, we see it all the time on Tv and in News papers, some of them dont even get D L A . I agree with you there, the goverment are terrible at looking after all our wounded service men and there families which ever part of the country they are from, its a disgrace. All our lads should be pulled out of the Afgan conflict now. The Welsh have always made up the British army as have the English, Scottish and Northern Irish, thats why is called the British army

You act as if none of those things would happen if it was just Wales on it's own. The ill treatment of our war heroes by the British government is disgusting I agree bit don't act as if it's only the Welsh.

My original point to this thread needs re-emphasising here. Wales is not on the union flag and therefore should not be flown anywhere in our proud country. The Union flag has 100% nothing whatsoever to do with Wales or Welsh people.

I often see Somali flags in Grangetown, I often see American Flags put up outside American peoples houses, polish flags, Pakistani flags etc etc

Ironic choice of advertisement above us My main gripe is the queen. We are a working class club, 99% come from working class families. My parents put themselves into an early grave to provide for my family. Why should any of their hard earned money go to the queen? even if it's only half a penny! It is principle. That is what the flag stands for in my opinion. As for the politics, i don't neccesarily believe independence would be good for Wales (at this moment in time). All i want is for Welsh people to govern our own affairs, like any other country. Is that too much? Are we not capable ? People like Cameron and the queen do not represent me, therefore the union jack does not either.

Yes but we have tried governing ourselves at the Welsh Assembly, and its a joke, you cant seriously want those load of meppets in Cardiff Bay have any really power, it would be like Fred Carno,s circus down there
