MATCH THREA: " CARDIFF CITY v BIRMINGHAM CITY " MATCH THREAD

Ronan Kpakio on for Calum Scanlon.

Chris Willock on for Ollie Tanner.

Ashford drills a low cross which is blocked for a corner. The Canton Stand roar to cheer the players on as they trot up.

Salechs header just wide

Huge block from Will Fish to stop a dangerous Stansfield shot!

Cute pass in to Moylan from Colwill and the Irishman takes a touch and blasts one. The official's flag is already raised for offside, however. Twenty minutes left as Cardiff bid for their third win of the season and third successive home triumph.

Joel Colwill has been outstanding today. Wins another foul.

Alex Robertson with another great free-kick. A Cardiff head turns it goalbound, but not with enough venom.

Chris Willock with another brilliant cross towards the back post and Ashford almost gets a toe on it! That looked dangerous for a second there.

Gray gets in around the back of Ng and hooks a ball back to Ducksch, but he volleys way over the bar.

Osayi-Samuel off for Ethan Laird.

This 1-0 with just over 10 minutes left is not helping my blood pressure.

And mine

Christoph Klarer booked for a foul on Moylan. Cardiff free-kick in a dangerous area here.

It'll be a robbery if they get something from this!!

Bagan booked. brought down Patrick Roberts.

Got the grandkids so the forum keeping me updated comon city

Chance! Huge chance for the visitors as a cross is whipped across the face of goal and Ducksch throws himself at it. He just needs to steer it on target - but heads wide!

Wasteful from Salech there. He was in the box and needed to hit the target, but hit a defender. Moylan angry next to him. Should have at least tested the keeper. A little ring-rust from the striker.

Tremendous from Will Fish there stopping Stansfield after he was played through. So composed.

Jack Moylan off and David Turnbull on.

Big Spending Wrexham below us as it stands

We played well today in shocking weather, fair play to all of them…..
I feared the worst when we were forced to reshuffle pre ko, but they stood tall and dug in. Didn't give brum f all.
Lovely stuff….
