MATCH THREAD: " CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD " MATCH THREAD

Great goal Tanner! Fantastic first half, only criticism would be we have to stop giving teams one on ones with Trott

Well thats bliown away the negativity! Brilliant. We must, must keep a clean sheet now. That will make it a great night. Very sad to see Lawlor limp off. Does not look good.

A great display from the Bluebirds, but not without a couple of ‘wobbly’ moments at the back

What a player we have in Jack Moylan and I’m so pleased for Ollie Tanner, too!

HALF-TIME SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 4 - 0 WATFORD (45+6 mins)
Bluebird scorers: Jack Moylan, 11 mins (pen), 35 mins; Watford og, 41 mins; Ollie Tanner, 40+5 mins

Fantastic stuff City, now let's keep a clean sheet.

Out for a smoke. Excellent first half and putting away our chances although Watford are dire at best they look doomed tbh not even playing for there fans at all really but we been really good first half

Lawlor be out for the rest of the year atleast imo

You know nothing right now! Sadly, your comment won’t surprise anyone though!

BLUEBIRDS

Joel Bagan with a tremendous cross on to Jack Moylan's head. He cannot steer it on target to complete the hat-trick, though.

I had a feeling something like this may happen. Watford are in total disarray. Jack Moylen WHAT a signing. Tanner too. Well pleased for him. Our defence still scare the shit out of me though

How didn't Cardiff score?! Joel Bagan with a great low cross and Ravaglia tips it on to Tanner, who has an open net in front of him. But it's awkward and his can only flick it to Moylan - who heads over the bar!

The away fans are booing and singing 'sack the board'. It really is toxic in that away end this evening, they are so disgruntled with their team's plight.

In fairness to Tanner he didn't miss an open goal as the keeper got a hand to the cross & it was going behind him but he managed to get a heel to it.

Let's keep a clean sheet now.

Watford 3 Subs on

Triple change for the visitors as Marc Bola, Mamadou Doumbia and Amin Nabizada are introduced.

Should we rest some players now for saturday

We really should be more ahead and yes, I am being greedy! I want more and a better goal difference, whilst we have a chance!

Watford making changes

LATEST SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 4 - 0 WATFORD (56 mins)

Will Fish with a super block there to deny a thnderous strike from Martin Payero. Brave stuff from him.

Ollie Tanner goes down the other end and wins a corner. He's put in some shift.

Be nice to see holt

Goid move from Watford but Fish stands up and makes a great block. He then follows that up with another intervention

Joel Bagan making some great runs and he will deserve praise after this game

LATEST SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 4 - 0 WATFORD (61 mins)
Bluebird scorers: Jack Moylan, 11 mins (pen), 35 mins; Watford og, 41 mins; Ollie Tanner, 40+5 mins

Penalty! Ashford feeds Chris Willock and he is bundled over by Edo Kayembe.

Saved! Chris Willock is given the penalty honours and it's poor. Ravaglia gets down to his right and saves.

Willock should of let Moylan

PENALTY (No.2) BLUEBIRDS!

Opportunity for Jack Moylan’s hattrick but the ball goes to the impeded Chris Willock, who gets his shot saved well by the Watford keeper

As poor decisions go, that was way up there!

Iker Bravo on for Martin Payero for the visitors.

Selfish by Wilock in my opinion should of let moylan take it

Willock should of let Moylan

Totally agree. Could see he was not happy

Double sub for Cardiff.

David Turnbull on for Jack Moylan.

Calum Scanlon on for Chris Willock.

Moylan looked pretty pissed off there and I dont blame him
