That sounds like it’s the end of that then. I’m sure we have a number of targets to move onto. Apparently the club are now asking for €10 m. If that’s the case it’s bye bye and I’d love hull to then pull out too :laughing6:

I was thinking about this on my morning walk. Why would you go to Hull over Cardiff?

Contract, but it will have a punitive relegation clause. They are not great payers by championship standards anyway!

There is a chance Hull don't get to 15 points; it's ruthless for a kid with a big Nordic reputation entering the Premier League at a club that's likely to struggle, we have the memories :)

What happens if he has good management who looked at CCFC yesterday and thought lets play the longer game!!!

Lets see if the fat lady starts to sing

You've answered your own question I think. It's great pay for a year (way more than we would pay) and you can negotiate the relegation clause so Hull basically have to sell or eat a huge contract.

I'm not sure if long term projects appeal to many players (or their agents!) who tend to try to maximise their value whilst they can.

It's a short career which can be derailed at any time by injuries, loss of form or a change of manager.

Even with a relegation clause in his contract parachute payments mean the contract would probably still be more generous than we could offer.

The longer this one dragged on the less likely I felt it would happen. Clearly the agent shopping him around to other clubs while we were trying to negotiate. That’s fair enough and an agents job but time to move on. Since BBM has taken over most transfers don’t leak to the media, this one becoming so public was a bad sign. Onwards and upwards we go

It’s all guesswork at the moment but things look to be happening, as the player is not in the Tromso team/squad for today’s match (in play at point of writing)

There are other Interesting factors too, but only time will tell now! :bluebird: :ayatollah:

Is the other interesting factor that an aeroplane from Tromso is arriving at Cardiff airport at 7.30 today?

It certainly is; but it’s s private flight and in the absence of a passenger manifest, it could be pure coincidence?

Jens said in the week after their game he was looking forward to playing against aalsund on Sunday looked at their team he was absent from it and not on the bench either does that mean he is on his way to hull or cardiff any thoughts

Could be any of the exec team involved in negotiations returning after Hull’s involvement

Looking at FlightRadar34.com, the plane flew from St Moritz to Tromso, then left for Cardiff Airport 2 hours later
Arriving here at 19.21.

Doesn’t Dalman have a private jet?

He was our major target and tan has been gazumped by hull,
if the lad is that good we should could have upt our bid, but if we gave a final price they just need to beat us,
Plus the lad has a chance to play premier league

Where does it say that as a ‘done deal to Hull City’? :?

On this thread, people, including myself, are just stating the coincidence of a ‘private’ flight to CWL from Tromso, and the absence of Dahl from today’s squad

It could be the club’s officials returning or the passenger(s) actual identities could be wide of the mark; but it is noteworthy and will certainly become apparent soon enough

I’m on the side of positivity when it comes to our club being able to get deals across the line, if the player(s) are prepared to listen to what BBM has to offer them

Here is the latest flight path (already past Hull)

No idea if this is happening or not or is major spoof.
Anyway. If either comes, Moylan is completely different player style

Your always on the positive side is that meaning something?
it's just something to talk about again on the forum rather than it being to serious, chatter rummors it's all what a forum is for in my book,
if we all said and thought the same, there would be no negative posters left and the positive posters would not have anyone to scold or take mick out of .
If this Norwegian guy comes to cardiff I'll buy you a pint.

There's merit in what you say? Hull will surely struggle in premier league whilst we have a makings of strong side in championship ...maybe club sold him about the sighnings we are making.... city maybe longer game but its a better game!
