If he wasn't a Cardiff lad would anyone be calling for him to be manager? Doubt it very much

and he will not be bringing any mates from arsenal tan wants Billy Williams from Barry town who as a goalkeeper has scored 2 goals
Birmingham had a manager last year who was inexperienced and hadn’t even played professional football and he did alright.
They also had provably the biggest budget ever in that division and a giant squad of quality they were .bless ahead of anyone else is tan going to pump in 20 million this season.?
Ah. So the goal posts have moved now that’s the point has been proved wrong. All I’ve heard was it’s just inexperience but it’s actually not that it’s the squad fault now and budget. That hasn’t been mention before. Last season 87.5% of league 1 managers didn’t achieve the goal of promotion for their club, the numbers higher if you include the number of managers changed. So the odds for success are very low from the get go.
The most inexperienced manager in the football league won the division at Birmingham. Experience doesn’t mean success.
Rambo is by far the best choice for us in my opinion.
'By far'?
What would he bring to the job that others, with much more experience, wouldn't?
Why is there this obsession with experience ?
Bulut and McCarthy had experience at a much higher level and look what happened there !
The Jacks have frequently appointed inexperienced managers and, to be fair, most of them worked out.
Many of us are gutted that we didn’t appoint Bellamy, he had no managerial experience but doing a great job for Wales.
If we don’t take the opportunity to appoint Ramsey I just hope we don’t have similar regrets further down the line.
For me Ramsey is definitely worth a gamble, he’s intelligent, has good connections and will know how he wants to play. I just don’t understand why people have such strong reservations ??

Also failed dismally at Southampton and Stoke and left them in a much worse position than when he started.
Jones is not the silver bullet. He also plays awful football so if the results don’t come you end up with nothing !!
I can understand people wanting other candidates but Jones worries me and I think is a huge gamble !!
If he comes I hope I’m wrong……….

You’re really clutching at straws if you think it’s fair to compare Ramsey’s 3/4 games managing a team that was, virtually, already down.
By all means disagree but that comparison is plain stupid.

1.07 Points per games in the Premier League with a squad who don't want him against 0.66 points per game. Unless Osian Roberts is on his way as DoF its madness.

Great point. With a couple of days notice. The improvement in that time was clear for all to see except people with an agenda that do t want to see it.
Ramsey. He’s one of us.

He is definitely in the same mould as Craig Bellamy and he is a Bluebird through and though loves the club and most importantly wants a proper structure put in place. If he gets Osain Roberts his preferred choice has assistant coach or DOF it could be a dream ticket and might just mean better times ahead. Hopefully this will be announced tomorrow and if so we should all fully support him and most of all have patience while he settles and stamps his blueprint on the role![]()
