Gareth Ainsworth would be my choice. Did miracles with tin pot Wycombe and loves City and understands us as a Club.

Disgusted by the decision. Worst sacking decision since Malky. We would have got a lot better and long term would have been a lot better off if we kept faith in SM.

Thought he did a good job keeping us up and getting rid of some high earners too.
Was always going to be a tough job bedding in all the new arrivals but I think his limitations were becoming exposed.
Too much tinkering with selection, not brave enough with tactics and an inability to communicate.
We move on.

Whatever you think of Morison he does have an attitude that can grate some.

Perhaps this is part if it.

Quote (you also): "PERHAPS this is part of it?

Which is it? :?

Think you are looking too deep in his comments
He is saying it’s not about results so perhaps it’s his attitude that is the problem

Surely we just didn't sack him on form, if this had been Bellemy I doubt he would have gone, have the club just realised he wasn't ready for the role at this stage in his career.

I had many a discussion on here that it wasn't Morison I didn't want, it was the lazy easy option the club took when appointing him in a difficult time. I think he did a great general manager role in recruiting over the summer but he is just part of a process.

I can't believe I am saying this, but Warnock or a Warnock type until the world cup wouldn't be a bad call. We really need to think about what we are doing. We need results and it's no time for another rookie.

Nathan Jones would be great, he is probably ready for this type of club and his accent and passion will cloud over poor results, but how much would it cost? He would also want a pretty water tight contract, so we have to be behind the philosophy.

We (fans) don't have even the smallest voice in this scenario which pretty much sums up the club.

Why on earth would people think Warnock, or a Warnock type, would be a good idea ?

We now don’t have a squad that could play in that manner even if we wanted to (and I certainly don’t !).

For the same reason I can’t see why we would go for Nathan Jones. His Luton team has been the most direct team I’ve seen this season and last !!

Surely people aren’t advocating we start yet another squad transformation?

Somebody more forward thinking, playing more modern football has to be the way to go.

I thought this decision was premature at best (on what we know), if we make the we wrong appointment now it could prove disastrous.
