Watters bunk again.
Perfect height for the keeper. Put it hard and low ffs.

Our heads have dropped. We need HT

+6 added time. An equaliser before half time would be cracking, but hard to see where it's going to come from atm.

Just keep in it. They have a history of running out of steam. We have good players and strength on the bench.

He did for Etete and my understanding is they are trying to get a couple of deals done before the window shuts...

No striker is going to want to come near this team if he reads this board, everyone we've had for years has been useless apparently, nothing to do with being stuck on their own all game. But hey we always need a scapegoat.

Our forward play is really starting to piss me off now, how many chances do we need to score one f*cking goal, get rid of Watters for f**k sake, put him in league one where he belongs, Morrison must see what we need, its no good having good pass and move if we can't finish it off, another derby defeat, 5 in a row
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:48 am
if we do not put this game back in the anonymity of the mid-table and who knows for how many months. come on blubirds we pull out everything we have! Come on City! come on Cardiff! Come on Wales!

I 100% guarantee you Morison reads this forum daily.

Offside City score

Ojo scores but offside.

So close noooooo
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:51 am
I know it’s outdated but we really need to look at going back to 4-4-2
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:51 am
... the linesman killed me. it's true, offside...

Its going to be one of those days. Mow lets see what we are made up off.
Their record of keeping leads is very bad so there is good chance we will get back into game.
Beat Luton 2:0 last game

A disappointing first half in which we conceded a well worked goal and then had one (rightly) chalked off before the break
Work to do
HALF-TIME SCORE: BRISTOL CITY 1 - 0 CARDIFF CITY

H-T 1-0
Bristol just edged it.

Time for City to show their character and a bit more fight.Conway looks a really good player. Lively fast skillful and hard working.
In contrast with the exception of O Dowda we look pretty impotent upfront. Change at halftime again?
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:54 am
Surely we need to try it with 2 upfront, one is not working.
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:54 am
Looked better in that added time. Obviously not faced going behind first this season yet, but the team can defend well, we know that.
O'Dowda and Sawyers are giving us a lot of control in the middle/CAM areas, which is nice to see. I think it's just a bit of luck now for the ball to fall at our feet, keep winning corners and crossing in off Ojo/O'Dowda and we'll score eventually I feel.

I tend to agree, ive never liked one striker up front on their own, 2 up front is better imo, always think to the days of Thorne & Earnshaw, Bothroyd & Chopra, one up front is just too isolated

Yes but overall from last season obviously only 5 games gone this season so let's hope it comes back to afflict them
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:56 am
Dogshit 1st half as I expected in the derby its nothing new really. Let's hope they come out with some fire in there bellys 2nd half. I'd take watters off at half time for paula in the stands tbh she will do more bar run about like a headless chicken
Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:56 am
We've done well I think, we're seeing more of the ball than the wurzles, just need to convert the chances. My optimistic head says a decent HT talk by SM, we'll score next, the wurzles heads will drop as they know they throw away leads and then we'll score again. That will probably bite me on the arse I know.

Think over the past few seasons some of the strikers we’ve had would have benefitted with a partner, seeing them now out with other clubs where they have a strike partner kind of enforces that theory.

Rino looking off the pace. I’d possibly look at Etete and a 442. Give Watters someone to play off, should have scored that chance, he really needs to start producing or it’s going to cost us points.

Nailed it right there........as I remember in my old age football is a TEAM game......but the sad american culture of blame, and sue and get money has more than leaked into the UK.
2-1 to the Bluebirds....watch this space, Etete to get the winner.

lol only difference in this game is one team took a chance the other hasnt. Both teams had periods of good play

Exactly, we’re not playing too bad after the initial 15 minutes.
Typical derby and they definitely had the edge first half.

City played quite well in patches. Kipre had a very good first half.
Need th change something upfront. Not picking on Watterrs but he always seems a yard off the pace.
