i agree there must be better ways of getting rid of Trump than a questionable pandemic...there was even a chance he could have handled covid really well
as for the numbers...so much just does not seem right....why have Germany had much the same restrictions as ourselves ? the 2018 flu killed 25 k where covid has killed 9k.... and over 5million flu cases in 2018 { physician signed , people who were actually ill enough to seek medical help } compared to 230k covid { some who were caught up in testing after not even feeling ill }
thats TWENTY times as many flu cases... i dont get it..
Without any background in medicine or virology or biology (which also applies to the majority of the speculators) off the top of my head I can think of a few things.
The Flu is treatable, we understand how it's transmitted, how it attacks the body, how lethal it is, how long it can survive on surfaces, etc.
As for Covid, when the first official reports came out of China they were saying thousands had died, hundreds of thousands were infected. These were also after unofficial reports were saying the death toll was in the hundreds of thousands and it was millions infected, there were videos of people dying in the streets, being locked into their houses, soldiers on the streets, temporary "hospitals" that looked more like prisons. People were saying 60 million people were in severe lockdown. There was so much uncertainty coupled with China being an untrustworthy source of information.
Even now we don't have a cure, there's still debates on how it is transmitted, we don't know if people can be reinfected, we don't know if there are new strains, we don't know if it will mutate. Hence the added caution.
As for Germany with 25k flu deaths and 9k Covid deaths on the flipside you have the UK which has around 10k flu deaths annually yet 40k Covid deaths in 6 months.
videos of people dying on the streets... ?
no

All of these are from back in January, 3 major News websites covering the story of people dying or dead in public. My point was there was a lot of uncertainty about the truth coming out of China due to them hiding the figures and attempting to silence any whistle blowers. I'm not actually saying Covid will cause you to drop dead.

And a link showing that it took until March (the earliest I could find) for someone to disprove some of the images coming out of China.
these had been disproved before we locked down.....fake news and part of operation scaremonger... dont ask me why as i do not know.. but right from the beginning of this there was a concerted effort by the press to scare..
as for Germany. .there is no flip side. Germany is Germany.... and my point being a modern well thought of country reacting as they have when they have dealt with worse makes no sense..
China were reporting both very few deaths and cases long before our lockdown.. but even at its peak the numbers were just not there... even the W.H.O were very reluctant to call it a pandemic
