Agreed, although I felt we were unlucky not to have won by more in fairness.

He didn’t give us any advantage. That’s my point.
But we have to do it ourselves and not expect referees to make the right calls in our favour.

So oddly a swans win ? For me get brentford out
swans would' nt want us.
I'm puzzled, can you please explain why we wouldn't want you ? Of course we wouldn't ( want you) but I assume you mean in a game.
Yeah I missed that comment.
I’m absolutely turning into a Cardiff fan tomorrow. I don’t think there is anyone in their right mind that would prefer to play Fulham.
Styles make games , Swansea were struggling tonight with Brentford running at them but were strong in the air both in defence and attack.
Fulham don't really run directly at team's and instead tend to use the wingers to put balls into Mitrovic and look for knock downs.
Cardiff are very direct both running and passing so should in theory be the tougher game for a team like Swansea, Fulham's style should suit Swansea more.
Add the fact it's a derby and anything could happen in that game
We have 4 points vs Cardiff this year and 0 vs Fulham.
We would without any shadow of a doubt prefer to play Cardiff be that for style or any other reason.
But of course we would need to get there first which is still one hell of a task to defend a 1-0 lead at Griffin Park.
This is a very different Cardiff team to the one you have faced early season. You should hope Fulham win as Cardiff are on form , playing well and confident. I don't think it matters anyway as the winner of the play offs is coming from the Fulham v Cardiff game
Form isn’t something I really worry too much about. It’s not as if once you win a few then you can’t lose again. We have won 3 on the bounce and would be amazed if we won the next for example.
Cardiff are the weaker side that’s all there is to it really, there is a reason Fulham finished 8 points above you and 11 above us. I just can’t see anybody preferring to play Fulham.
Not slagging you off, just being realistic.
No thats fine but don't forget Brentford finished 12 above you and you just beat them. They are the highest points and goalscorers put of the four but go into this on the worst form. 3 defeats in a row now.
Form is key and confidence is a must in the play offs
Absolutely, but Brentford are clearly the more talented side. I’m not saying we have no chance to beat Fulham, just more of a chance to beat you than we do Fulham, the better the team the tougher the game generally speaking. I just don’t see why anyone would really prefer to play Fulham in a Final when our recent derby record is great, have beaten you and drawn with you already this year and lost both matches against Fulham.
Form may well play a part but I would prefer to go up against a lesser team off the back of a few wins than a better side off the back of a few defeats any day. Form is only temporary.

As usual no idea of the rules of the game, He came into the tackle with both feet off the ground and studs showing.

No he didn't it was a controlled slide tackle which is allowed in the rules of the game. He never even went through the player he slid across him and Roberts fell over him afterwards.
It was one footed and his studs were down
It was a great tackle and a very harsh sending off. I would say the same if it was a Swansea player.

30 years ago the Brentford lad would be clapped all round as a perfect tackle
20 years ago, no one would have cared
10 years ago he may have got a yellow
5 years ago he would have got a yellow
2020 its a sending off, in the eyes of the laws of the game its dangerous, he couldn't have pulled out, so its uncontrolled and a red card.
Morrison against Leeds is similar.
5 subs, water breaks, uncontested drop balls, VAR. The games evolves for better or worse every year.
If i was a Jack I would prefer Cardiff over Fulham. Fulham have a very experienced, extensive, high quality squad. Cardiff are experienced with some like for like cover but nowhere nears Fulhams.
The Jacks have a mid table team with a lad up front who'll be playing at the next level in a few months time and a premier league striker. Brentford have a small squad of inexperienced youngsters who appear to me are running out of steam. As a Cardiff fan, we saw this repeatedly under DJ.
Fulham have to be favourites for promotion, even with the Jacks 1-0 lead.

Yet they stand closer to a return to the PL than the other 3 teams.
It would be nice to get a referee who wasn’t conned by Mitrovic and sent off players on yellows for second yellow card offences or even get red carded for perfectly timed tackles but we constantly have to suffer idiots Martin and Ward and Hooper etc.
All a swansea player has to do like Rip Van Winkle and that girl yesterday is fall over, scream and roll around and in an empty stadium the refs get conned (or are inept).
Makes one sick.
