Fraud?

At last something you have in common with Neil Harris! ;)

Having said that, it has been a poor start by a bereft of ideas Bluebirds and some pretty sloppy defending by the whole group :(

Sven you thought by now we would be in the playoff positions as everything would be okay in the end. Please admit your positivity has been misplaced and I was right I.e we are a distinctly average to lower championship team

No, fella. On a serious note, I will always get behind the team on the pitch and for the whole 90 minutes; that's what being a supporter (rather than a mere fan) means

That you are occasionally correct in your negative assertions, giving up on the team after 5 whole minutes is pretty crass and not conducive with the purpose of being s 'supporter'

We're 1-0 down with lots of time to go , I won't be giving up on this Cardiff team

You bang on now. I'm going to concentrate on the game :thumbright:

Great save from Smithies there! :thumbright:

Sven that’s where you’re wrong. Without fans like me who challenge and criticise when criticism is needed... we would no doubt still be playing in red. If every fan just went about thinking everything was rosey we would be taken mugs. Look beyond the spin... the club lied to us about their intentions with a new manager and now we are stuck with the worst manager for years

No, fella. I'm not wrong. All that stuff you mention is not for game time

I'm not a Neil Harris fan and I wanted a manager who could convince the supporters that the club are ambitious for the remainder of this season and beyond. It saddens me that we didn't get that. We got another 'yes man' prepared to work on a shoe string

But away from that, this is the match day thread and we should be getting behind the team as much as we can rather than perpetually looking to criticise and writing the team off after 5 bloody minutes!

Who are you to tell us what we should or shouldn't be doing?

I'll call it as I see, I'm sure others will agree with me on that.

Let’s see if we can at least create a chance this half

The only positive is that it is only 1-0! Should be 3-0 at least.
Pretty dreadful stuff..... BUT let's remember that this is the team that Neil WARNOCK built and left us ......with s!ow and ageing.

IMO this would be a good time to bring on Murphy cos Hoilett and Whyte have been poor.

Looks like Bennett is back to normal (absolute garbage) again this week.

Let's see if we can rescue something in the second half. COME ON CITY :bluebird:

Harris hasn’t got a clue. What worries me even if we had someone better, I’m not sure they could improve the players we got. When you have the likes of Pack and Bacuna in your midfield, a makeshift striker up front, and a winger and CB that was playing lower league last season what hope have we got

Re: MATCH THREAD;" BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY " MATCH TH

Compare that with Nigel Pearsons impact and galvanising effect at Watford. I know he's got better players yet still shook em up

Have we done anything this half yet?

That's why we MUST bring in at least a couple of midfielders this month who will give our defence more protection and get better quality ball to the forwards. And why the f##k has Rall been left out?

Telling you? :?

I'm just voicing my opinion that BarryWelsh88 Is perpetually negative and looks for the downside of everything; but he more than holds his own, to be fair

Meanwhile, back at the game, City unlucky not to get a penalty as Tomlin clearly brought down inside the box and replayed show contact from Birmingham's Mark Roberts

All City so far this half (in line with the Harris Way) :ayatollah:

Lee Tomlin hits the deck in the penalty box and appeals for a penalty, but it’s waved away! Neil Harris is incensed on the touchline as he marches over and berates the fourth official.

Definitely a penalty for City, but as always not given

Replays show Tomlin unlucky not to get the penalty :(

Totally agree

Gavin Whyte is awful, without knowing what went on with Kadeem it looks a terrible bit of football business to let him go on a free and pay money for him I hope he’s not on big wages

Lee Tomlin is fouled and gives the referee a sarcastic clap. He goes into the book.

Paterson’s throw-ins causing havoc here. Another corner for City.

Annis we get so close but don't have that striker who gets in right place like mitrovic does? If did we would win lot more games like today with all the pressure we've had in box

Marlon Pack goes into the book for the most professional of fouls as Birmingham look to break.

I don’t think any club has so consistently had such bad strikers on their books at the same time as city have over the past two years
