For me , he will always be a great CCFC manager but it’s time for a change before we get too far off the play offs and also we are playing one way football.

Totally agree in think warnock wanted to quit after sala but wanted to keep going for sake of.the club....he hasnt been the same since

We are in more danger of relegation than we are promotion

A couple of points off play offs mate.
However you may feel, and I felt it yesterday, the facts are that it’s still well within our reach as there are months to go.
We have two home games to come and for me, we were excellent at Millwall.
Too early for panic button yet.

No end of the season he goes it was all arranged, it has affected this season so far, but we have been very unlucky with injuries, he is a stubborn bugger and could still get us into the playoffs stick with him

People are overreacting because we lost to little Swansea, get over it anything can happen in football, we had a bad day, Brendon told him our weakness, stick a load of little feckers upfront and run at our back four.

I think that has affected him and taken a little bit of the aggression out of him!

No.

He is an honourable man and will walk if he thinks he can’t do any more.

Because it was against Swansea yesterday’s defeat doubles the number of moaners on this site.

I’m not a big fan of sacking managers at any time, but Warnock deserves more loyalty than any we’ve had in recent years.

3 massive mistakes

*Still haven't found a goal scorer after 3 years of trying

*Didn't replace Manga with similar defender

*Said he was leaving a year in advance!!

This last one is the biggest by far for me.

How ever much our players love Warnock they know that in 6 months time he wont be there.

Yes tell the board so they can plan but why tell anyone else..

Football can be a short term contract anyway who knows what's a month away.

I have never seen a team be successful when they know the manager was leaving.

Casing point Arsenal with the Arsène Wenger drag on.

If I was the board now I would see who was available and make a change as soon as the guy they want is free.

Hughton or maybe Jokanović could be options. The next Manger will be massive for the club

It's easy to say people are overreacting to losing to Swansea but it's not really that. Its more that we have played 8 away games this season and have not won a single one of them and are 14th in the table as near to the drop zone as the playoffs and there is not the slightest sign we are getting any better. His signings look crap and the football is rubbish. If we win our next two home games, both against teams well ahead of us in the table we would still only be in a position to challenge for the playoffs not in them.

The Warock happy clappys are beginning to annoy me they seem to want to ignore the terrible signings the rubbish football on the basis that we are suddenly going to improve and surge towards the playoffs when there isn't the slightest evidence of any improvement. I hope they are right but think it is a load of rubbish.

You took the words out of my mouth there! I'm not one to slag him off,he is one of ,if not the best manager we've had in a long, long time, but I'm afraid he has run his course as manager (didn't think I'd say that!!) he couldn't get the team up for it,which is more shocking to me :? Absolute zero fight or desire in a derby is unacceptable, the whole team, manager included, need to take a leaf out of Southampton's decision to donate their wage, for the day they got thumped 9-0 against Leicester, to local charities :thumbright: the least they could do imho.perhaps now is the time for him to go,head held high, fans singing his name, new blood in and give them the funds available in january. :sad7: :old: :bluebird:

For you to say that it must be bad. That is not a pop, but you are; in your own words, a glass half full type. And, as per the perspective thread which we had a slight conversation I was an “angry man” I think it was. Yet one game later perspective has hit home.

I have said in previous posts he’s worked miracles. But, he’s put together a side so low on quality, wasted millions as I mentioned previously, and we are looking poor, we’ve been worked out and it’s awful to watch. If he stays, we will win games, not in a pretty way, but we need to get a new man in to start rebuilding this mess. We have a lot of players who, I think, just need a new start. Players get stale need a move, we need something new that’s football. I’d rather Neil go now with his head held high rather than the fans turn en masse.

I trust my gramma is better for you this evening.

In my defence,I said I would judge around 1t games in,on another thread a while back,in answer to Annis's question, when would I make a judgement, and yes I'm that way inclined (glass half full ).so my perspective is due I guess :?: my apologies if I've offended you in any way,not intentionally done  I guess I was defending neil, more in hope that he could turn it around, I certainly won't post crap, about neil, no gain there, but the players simply didn't look bothered? 80% of City fans think Warnock should go. I didn’t realise it was that huge an opposition to his tenure. If he reads this poll he would probably quit. 80%? Holy shit.

I’m thinking his signing of Madine, throwing away more money on a left back and keeper as well as his tactics away to Fulham were the low points with this pathetic performance being the nail in his coffin.

That’s not quite right though is it?

You’re saying that it’s 80% of Cardiff fans whilst in reality it’s only 80% of 138 people on here who bothered to vote and probably quite a few of those are jacks and shit stirrers.
Nothing much to do with the 20,000 plus who actually watch our home games so hardly a true reflection at all.

agree it does not even say its a poll
even if all those that voted yes are regular attendees of games { extremely unlikely } it amounts to .5% of a percent.
and thirdly a poll on the day of a derby defeat ? I bet even Fergie would have got a poor rating having just lost to Citeh or Liverpool...

Said on here plenty of times before that I don't think this forum is typical of the majority of City fans. I read plenty of stuff on here that completely contradicts what I hear in and around the ground and in the local pubs and clubs. I think there are a lot of more militant outspoken fans on here, and probably some who rarely go to matches. However, everyone is perfectly entitled to have an opinion, but personally I don't take any more notice of the polls on here than I do of most match predictions. If we were playing Barcelona away, the predictions on here would be 37 for an away win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a Barcelona victory, and if we lost the forum would be full of either sack our manager, or the ref robbed us. ;)

Surely you can't be happy with what you've seen so far this season Steve? The football is terrible and the players don't even look like they know what they are supposed to be doing. Every city fan I know has had a guts full of it and think we are going backwards. A slow start to season or a run of bad games would have been acceptable but we are a third of the way through the season now and performances havnt changed and they don't look like they will either. We are sloppy at the back, non-existent in midfield and are not clinical enough in attack.

No, not happy and as disappointed as everyone else. As I said on another thread today, we knew what sort of football we would be getting when Warnock came here, but most of us still wanted him and trusted him to deliver, which to be fair, he did. We are going through a sticky patch, but we were going through an even worse one just be before he arrived. He turned it around once, hopefully he can do it again. If he feels he can't, I think he will call it a day, but that does not mean we will suddenly set the world alight under a new manager. As I said earlier, I have seen us play under more than 30 different managers, and only two have taken us to where we all want us to be playing our football.

Fair enough. I don't think it is a sticky patch though, I think this is as good as its going to get this season. I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise. Maybe with the exception of the Millwall game. I Hope he can turn it around but if he cant then we definitely need change sooner rather than later.

I Hope he can turn it around but if he cant then we definitely need change sooner rather than later.

thing is most clubs that come down don't even make the play offs... of course you hope that we will be one that goes straight back up. but should we not its hardly a disaster.. besides in another poll on here half the people voted that they prefer to be in this league anyway ?????????????????
anyway ..I thought he had far more goodwill in his tank than this , 4 defeats in 14 games. jeez.

I have got a lot of respect for Warnock after what he has done for the club. Not just the promotion but he reunited the club and fan base. I still don't think that gives him a free pass for a shit season though. We were sold the 'burnley model', go up come back down and build for another promotion push. We havent done that at all, we havnt just stagnated we have gone backwards I think. If you are happy with the football we are currently playing that is fine but the majority of fans are getting fed up with it. I would love to be proved wrong and that he turns it around starting from Saturday but I can't see much changing and I can't see the board trusting him with money to make changes in January either. For all his good work I think he is part of the problem at the moment. That is just my opinion of course.

For me , he will always be a great CCFC manager but it’s time for a change before we get too far off the play offs and also we are playing one way football.

Totally agree in think warnock wanted to quit after sala but wanted to keep going for sake of.the club....he hasnt been the same since

And maybe some of it from me,is hot air after sunday :banghead: a change is needed I believe, but will refrain from abusive comments regarding warnock&players. :old: :bluebird:

apart from saying they were not bothered...

I wasn't clear on that being bothered, that's why I put ? After it,didn't mean it as my summary, was reading what other opinions were, added to my own opinions,I will try to be clearer in future posts.as I said,I have until this last game, given neil and the players benefit of the doubt, but something has to give,I stand by them still, just feeling deflated lately,Millwall being the high point, maybe I jumped the gun a little with Sunday's debacle, but I believe if things don't get turned around soon,he may well walk :?: as I've said, either way he will have my full support, and if things go tits up,I will remember his time hear fondly. :ayatollah: :old: :bluebird:

I'm not saying it's right. I was just replying as I was shocked that 80% of City fans (I was obviously talking about this poll as this is a thread about the bloody poll) on here want him gone. Don't shoot the messenger mate. I was simply writing about my shock to the huge 80% of fans (one here) wanting him gone and speculating on the reasons why.
