McBurnie has been a starting striker for us for a grand total of one season. I think we will be okay. :D

An altitude chamber is to improve cardiovascular endurance. It means the body has to work harder due to limited oxygen and has a huge benefit to fitness. Madrid, Barca and Munich all regularly use them.

Yea and he scored 22 goals you muppet, a 3rd of your goals scored that season. Add Dan James to that and you’ve lost half your goals. If you think you won’t struggle without them then you clearly don’t believe the obvious truth.

They are doing no such thing, the accounts are there for all to see.

This transfer will pretty much erase any money concerns and have a small portion available to replace. A good player but 20m is a no brainer for us.

True. A no brainer but will they spend of a replacement?

500k for Petersen is not suggesting you will spend.

We don't really have to spend a lot to beat the likes of CCFC

Come on you've been doing same for 7 yrs ( selling players at inflated prices) and still you are short of cash for a properly run club the money seems to be going down a very big drain?

Can you explain "Properly run club" Properly run clubs don't spend two promotions sitting at the bottom of the table.Maybe if you survived just one season up there it would mean something, try doing it for SEVEN.

We'd end up attracting some u.s. consortiums who would buy us and asset strip us......Oh wait..... :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

And are they better off than us for being in there for 7 yrs? They dont have 2 pennies to rub together despite making massive profits on players !

You have said this a few times now, it confused me the first time and needless to say is still doing so.

A football club isn’t a bank, the goal of a football club is to succeed, not to make money. So us having no money now is irrelevant, i would say that no club outside the top 4 makes money, maybe not even then. The question is, what has the money we have had gone towards and what has it achieved.

The money we have had funded a squad capable of back to back top 10 Premier League finishes (one in the top 8), a major trophy, a European run getting to the knock out stages, 7 consecutive years at a level many only get to experience for 1 season of struggle, a training ground on par with some of the best in the world and an excellent academy.

The above put us on the map, our global exposure off the back of that is invaluable. So considering (and I say this with respect) that you are never likely to achieve the above in your lifetime, I would say yes we clearly are better off for it.

You may think that’s gloating but that really is the harsh reality of the matter.

I have seldom seen a Cardiff City thread on Planetswans regardless of events with players or results.

You’re on this MB more that’s why.

Every game last season there was multiple threads about ccfc on ps, I counted 8 on the main page once....you are obsessed again, it will only grow worse as u slip back to league 2 obscurity. Wonder how the king is doing? On holidays a lot I hear....

Right? Not understanding your point here either.

You do know that you get to replace players though yes? So if you sell someone who scores 6 goals doesn’t mean you score 6 goals less next season, it doesn’t work like that. Every single season we have had players that score and as a result they attract interest from elsewhere and we sell should a valuation be met, that doesn’t mean you lose goals, it means someone else plays in their place. We have never had a problem before and it is a regular occurrence.

That’s the obvious truth.

But this time round you haven’t replaced them with any sort of quality, so yes you will miss their goals next season. whether it’s the yanks bleeding you dry or that money is being used to cover your financial losses (which ever way you want to spin it), the truth is f**k all money is being reinvested. 7 years in the prem and almost £40 mill earned from the sales of your two stand out players last season and you are relying on freebies and loans to strengthen your squad.

You’ve tried to sound clever throughout this thread but you just come across as a bellend. I think it’s about time you bored another forum about your training facilities. Have you tried bristol city’s?

We haven’t even sold him yet, give us chance :D

The “yanks” aren’t bleeding us dry at all, that is an uninformed and frankly incorrect opinion. All the money is being reinvested into the club, currently it’s on overheads eg wages, historical transfer amortisation.

7 years in the Prem is irrelevant. Our time spent in the PL is the reward for making our money there, we didn’t spend all that time there in order to have a phenomenal championship side, we spend the Prem money in order to have our most successful period in our history and improve our infrastructure that will provide benefit for decades.

Would I rather our 7 years of success or swap it all for a great Championship squad? Nah you are alright, :D

Officially a blades player £20m how anyone can say they wont be weaker without him is deluded ss they replace him with a 1m winger typical Swansea tactic and one reason why they wont be challenging for promotion again.
