Very, very poor start to the season. Defence all over the place and no quality in the middle. A lot of work to do for Warnock but for me this results was because our pre-season was woeful. Not enough games and a pointless waste of time travelling to the US to play teams we don't know enough about.

Let’s hope for a busy week in transfer market, sadly had to listen today but Wigan seemed to stroll through the middle of us, Murphy seemed to have a shocker. Madine again got zero service - we are desperate for a ball playing central midfielder as at some point Warnock will try and shoehorn Paterson in. Etheridge seemingly out and by the sounds of it day looked very ropey although not sure he could anything with the 2 he conceded.

In a nut shell, Wigan outplayed us 2nd half, broke on us and took their chances Cardiff didn’t cope with any pace thrown at them, windass was allowed to run all day at us. We fluffed a chance or two and it’s cost us. Thankfully the season isn’t decided by today’s result but if we continue to play like this with this squad and no more additions it’s going to be a long one.

Sadly I had radio Wales to listen to and it’s dire so perhaps it wasn’t as bad as that.
