They throw money at things in consultation then don't deliver. Just paying for them to talk jargon shit and then us taxpayers fork out their expenses.
A bad decision in my eyes with no long term benefit to the Welsh economy

Turned out to be one very expensive chat room that we are all paying for. Complete waste of money as far as I am concerned. I can't really complain too much, I was one of many who did not bother to vote, and have to accept the result of a democratic procedure.

I did vote so I can moan.

Regards the other "projects", HS2, electrification to Swansea and the tidal barrage. Yes HS2 is a complete waste of money. The other 2 would have been nice to have especially the barrage for renewable energy. But the relief road would have carried a tangible improvement to all of Wales. Not just the south east. It is the main and major artery in to Wales. I believe all of south Wales would have seen benefits which would have had a knock on effect all over Wales because of further investment. Improvements in the flow of traffic would see further improvement to the local environment. Drakeford had a golden chance to make a difference. He has spent the money to back up the choice. The assembly could really have done something independent of Westminster to make a difference to Wales. But he bottled it. Bottled it in favour of spending more money on more reports and reviews. Which again will take years. He is a joke and sadly it is at our expense.

This is his failure and his alone. Nothing to do with the Westminster conservative government

P.s. it Frankly takes the piss that off the back of (to quote Boris) spaffing 140 odd million of our money up the wall he rejects the most promising plan with ZERO alternative! So now he wants to spaff more of our money away!

Not like he said "i can't sanction the black route so we are going to go with the blue".

Devolution is now holding projects in Wales back. One company spent over £1M if it’s own money on feasibility and planning etc, the project got pulled. Wag do not have the financial clout to back major projects, and I can’t see many wanting to work with Drakeford, he’s no driving force or charisma, which is important in his role.

He says tho, we’ve made important progress in education and social affairs. Any other organisation, he would be shown the exit. If he had any shame, he would resign.
