Still not a big fan of the owner concept having football clubs... hope that will change one day...

for being honest and for investing money into the club. For being a bigger man than I thought you are. It takes a lot to say what you've said. Especially in Asia. Everybody makes mistakes, and you stand by it.

You believe they are valid points. I believe he's talking nonsense. However, I'm happy to debate the issues with anyone.
What I object to is personal attacks for no apparent reason, but I've grown used to them over the years. Tony's been at it for a long, long time. I'm surprised he doesn't remember my girlfriend, though. I've been with her for ages. She was on the board of the Supporters' Trust way back when Tony failed to get himself elected to it.

He did admit the mistake after thanking the fans before anyone else which was great. He also backed warnock which was great.
He didn't apologise though. That's just a fact.

This has been debated constantly in the field of politics. When MP's make statements that are seen as Nonpologies or Fauxpologies.
"I'm sorry you felt that way" is an example of this.
It turns out that saying sorry is the easy part, it's the acceptance of responsibility or wrongdoing that MP's avoid.
Therefore Tans acceptance that he made mistakes far outweighs the requirement to say sorry.
He HAS said sorry by accepting the mistake. This is obvious when you turn it on its head, would you expect someone to say they made mistakes but are NOT sorry.
The acceptance of the mistake is an apology.

That is true but Tan could also say no-one has ever apologised to him for the abuse his elderly Mother received or the personal racial abuse he received.
It comes down to individual choice but personally I find it more sickening to think supporters would verbally abuse a woman in her 90's when compared to change the colour of a kit.
What Tan said is about as good as it gets as far as an apology is concerned so rather than worry about semantics we should draw a line under it and get on with the good times.

I hated the man with passion for it .when we got promotion last time i was there at the ground calling Tan all sorts i wasn't happy it felt so wrong .Then i helped to campaign to change us back to blue with many others.
That was then so for now I forgave Tan a long time ago for the greater good of ccfc but to be honest to come out say what he said takes a big man and it meant a lot to me personally.
To see him lofted in the air made it all worth it was a great moment and long may it continue
.
Tan deserves credit for sticking with us and changing things around so well done to him and thanks very much for a brilliant season hope we see more of him .
Great post ,tlg needs to move on ,I've heard loads of excuses over the years not to support Cardiff, but I could never turn my back on my hometown club because whoever is in charge it's my club

Lol. I see what you're saying Wayne but more importantly I saw what Tan said and it wasn't an apology. He did accept he made a mistake though which was big of him and he thanked the fans.
Also, he saved us from going bust and pumps heaps of his cash in. However, dress it up with as much fake news as you like, he did not say sorry.

What the actual f**k? Have some respect for me. I'd never abuse a 90 year old woman. If I did then I'd hang my head in shame and apologise.
If I admitted to doing it but didn't apologise would you draw a line under it and see it as an apology and move on?
Please don't mix my point of him not actually apologising with abusing old women.
I am not Tan's biggest fan but I did say in my post that it was big of him to admit his mistake and good of him to give us so much money.

Doesn't the fact you find any remark about yourself indicate what I have sated, everything comes down to how it affects you not the club?
You called me a fat ugly fucker, who went with the rebrand and failed to get elected onto the Trust Board.
All of that is factually correct and I don't find any offence in it simply because I have no ego.
On the other hand I said you should read TLG's post if you want an example of someone who thinks it is all about them and not the club and by the way he seems to have found a girlfriend.
That to is factually correct but you take it completely out of context and coming storming on this board to "defend your self" from personal abuse![]()

The difference is you have an ego and are totally in denial about your self obsession.
Finally I have no idea who your girlfriend was EIGHT BLOODY YEARS AGOand this another example of your self obsession in believing that other people should know everything about you
