Celtic fans sing about lee rigby

Bobby sands was an elected mp and a member of the irish republican army doing the same as lee rigby fighting for his country . It all depends what side of the fence you look from but the majority of irish would see sands as a freedom fighter not a terrorist . You got to remember guys theres 2 sides to every story and i try to look at both. It should never come in to football though and i fully condemn those celtic idiots singing that and most celtic fans will be embarassed right now.

The problem with him I see he thinks the IRA were freedom fighters.

They may have very well been freedom fighters in 1916 when they fought for independence, in their latter years though they nothing more then child killing terrorist scum.

He also refers to the IRA as 'fighting' for a united Ireland. Of course this goes against the majority wishes of the people of Northern Ireland who wish to remain within the UK.

Therefore the IRA can't be 'freedom fighters' as they don't have a mandate so they must be either criminal mass murders or terrorists or both.
