Surely the view that any sensible supporter would have, unless they've got a hidden agenda off course.

The same people were saying the same thing last season, and probably the season before. Then they were confident that we would be in the top two this season, play offs at least. The realistic people on here who knew that we had absolutely no chance of promotion were accused of club bashing and being pessimists. I call it being realistic, and the average bloke up the local pub could see that this squad was nowhere near good enough to challenge the top teams. The same thing will be brought up again this time next season, and the season after when it becomes obvious that once again we will be missing out on a top six place, and the same people will be saying we are building for the following season. I don't have a problem with the club slashing costs and reducing it's huge debts, but I am realistic enough and accept that while this is going on, we are not going to be able to bring in players with the quality to take us to the top.

Sorry but thats bollocks.

Most fans who understand the financial situation were not expecting to be top 2 or even a tilt at the play-offs at all.

Maybe the likes of Wez who has blind optimism when it comes to City, cant knock him for it, but his loyalty makes him look deluded on times.

Then you got idiots like Dahboy and Saddles (probably the same person) who think anything less than top 2 is failure but I dont ever see them posting anything reasonable on the financial side of things.

You moan about the debt, you want Tan out yet you still moan when he doesnt give the manager millions to spend.

Double standards.

To be fair £300k is not millions. I agree, nobody can expect us to splash out big sums of money and to see the debt reduced at the same time. However, considering the players that have been offloaded, £300k does not seem an extortionate amount to ask for. I have no idea how desperate Warnock was for the player involved, but if he was unable to get £300k now, he is not likely to have much money available in the Summer either. I think he will be gone by the begining of June.

Steve I doubt the £300k was the problem but the millions in wages would probably be a deal buster

where does this millions in wages come from, we are talking about a league one player who nobody put a bid in for in the whole of january until deadline day.
Cardiffs interest ended when told he was already going to Bristol City.

The committee probably did want to sell at the time... and fans were desperate for him to go as well.He was the shadow of the player he is presently ....

Credit once again has to go to the committee for appointing Neil, for allowing Neil to sign Bamba, Hoilett and the other two.

Joff , Wrong it was the Committe who put him in the window at £2mill after the Euros.

No credit for getting Warnock, last throw of the dice after the three wise monkeys Ole,Slade and Trollope,Tan finally had no choice as we were doomed.

Give it a rest Annis

This constant club bashing is getting boring as f**k
