My mate who is a West Ham fan said he was watching our plight and feeling it was the same as when his club hired Glenn Roeder to just be a yes man. He said even if we get rid of Slade there will still be the problem of the owner wanting things done his way and that will either put off any decent managers or restrict the ones that come in.

Personally, I was a backer of Slade simply because I want to back the man in charge at our club but I have lost patience with him over the last 2-3 months simply because he's blaming everyone but himself and I have no time for that selfish and cowardly approach. He has taken no responsibility and learned nothing from his mistakes so I couldn't care less if he went now.

Considering the amount he is on it could be argued he's not doing that bad a job! The likes of Dave Jones, malky, Solksjaer were on almost ten times that amount! So if we get our wish and Slade is sacked don't expect us to appoint the likes of Pearson, Warnock, Sherwood,Holloway or anyone else who has been mentioned because I can't see Tan covering their wages. We would probably end up with another 'left of centre' move for an unknown foreign coach or lower league manager.

I agree. I think Tan will let things ride this season and unless there is a real bad run of results Tan will be happy enough with being in touching distance of a play off spot. It would appear that Tan is not that interested in City at the moment and he is just doing enough to run the club in a cost effective way. I wonder what Tans long term goal is with City? What does he actually want to do with the club? That question is a worry in my opinion.
