For the sake of accuracy, they averaged 15,507 not 13,000.

Edit- Although they did average 13,500 the year they went up from League 1 if that is what you meant, but im not sure how that is relevant.

Proves the point that success brings floaters. That's what I mean. Would be interesting what it was if you take the Cardiff home game out of the equation.

Correct nowhere near 13000.

If you took the derby out of the equation then it would barely move id assume. It is an average over 23 games. Their average has never dipped below 15,000 in the championship.
But yes, of course success brings fans.

Well it would make a difference I suppose as they had 18,000 odd against us so it would bump it up.
I've glad I'm cleared that up with a fellow Cardiff fan.

I think you mean 15,772.
Swansea 3-1 Forest 16,661
Swansea 1-1 Sheff Wed 16,702
Swansea 1-1 Derby 14,003

I think you are incorrect! If they were promoted in the 2010-2011 season their first three games were against:
Preston North End 14,010
Burnley 14,010
Coventry City 12,441

2,500 spread over 23 games is a difference of 108 people over the course of the season. So it goes from 15,500 to 15,400.

No quick edit, you just to need to read what is written not what you want to believe is written. It just illustrates that both South Wales clubs require succes to achieve crowds over 15,000.

I believe I did read it correctly, we just cant agree over the supposed edit. Im not sure I agree regarding the statement either, Swansea averaged over 15,000 for every Championship season they had and were only in the play-offs for one solitary season out of them.

Yes, but as stated - barely. It means it is 15,400 instead of 15,500.
You probably read they had an average of 13,500 in League 1.
Yes I do know quite a bit although wikipedia has been a great ally in this particular topic I must say.
