Agreed. His "Blumbrgereisog and Blodwinafanniog" used to grate on me. However irs an awful way to treat anyone, particularly after his years of loyal service. Club should be ashamed. Bye Ali!
I can assure you that he never said such a thing.
Sorry Cwmann me ole mucker, it was just a little fun, I didn't mean to offend. Its just that I don't like the sound of it that's all and I thought it all a bit incongruous with Ali being of obvious Semitic origin. However, it genuinely intrigues me why people get so defensive over something like a language. Its very subjective, we cant all have the same likes and dislikes. I have nothing against it but it does jar on my ears thats all. I mean, my mother tongue is English but if I were in some far flung corner of the earth snd some native told me they disliked the sound of English it would mean absolutely nothing to me. It is merely a functional tool for the purpose of communication in my view (or hearing as the case might be).

If you're Welsh and don't like the Welsh language being used in Wales then take your ignorant arses over the bridge and go and live amongst the other ignorant land grabbers in England. They don't speak Welsh either, I'm sure you'll be delighted to find out, and you can be free from the horrific ordeal of having your home language spoken in your home country. I mean who'd have thought it aye? Welsh being spoken in Wales? The shock of it? Unbelievable. They'll be speaking Turkish in Turkey next.![]()
And yes, people should get DEFENSIVE about their NATIONAL language, culture, heritage and tradition because if you allow that to be taken from you, you are also allowing your IDENTIFY to be taken from you and replaced with something else. As Cardiff fans with everything that has happened, you should know what this means more than most.
English may be your mother tongue but so what? You're in Wales, not England. If you want everything in English then sod off to England. Problem solved. You people expecting everything in Wales to be in English are no better than the idiotic English prats who go abroad expecting everyone to bow before them and speak English to them like its their divine right. How about, you stop being lazy and ignorant of other countries cultures and ways, educate yourself and at least try rather than sit there and whinge because you don't understand what is being said?
Anyone who is Welsh who is hating on the Welsh language should hang their head in shame. You are little cowards who bring nothing but shame upon your country.

You don't half talk a load of bollocks. I was born in Wales so I'm obviously Welsh. Its not my NATIONAL language because my nation does not have one. I'm British and there is no such language. I don't happen to be ignorant of other cultures because I have travelled all over the world, studied other languages and cultures in university and speak gour languages spart from my mother tongue. I do not expect people to speak to me in English when I visit foreign countries. This hating the Welsh language nonsense speaks of little man syndrome to me. I just happen to dislike its euphony, just like I happen to dislike jumped up mouthy little jerks in Bulgaria telling people what they should think. Are you reading Mein Kampf at the momeny Fritz? We havr all seen what raging nationalism can lead to as the Balkans will testify in blood. The culture police are only a short step away from the thought police with all the horror that implies.

I found him self-indulgent, obscure songs played just to link to some equally obscure reason. Yes Ali, we know you've learned Welsh ... no need to constantly remind us.
