Another ignorant and pathetic attempt to present the Palestinians (sorry - all Arabs - lets make it as racist as possible) sub-human!

You and your keyboard mate Maccydee should read what you write and what you quote.
It was a pathetic comment that Arabs (not Hamas or any other group) don't love their children as much as they hate the Jews. It is a comment intended to present all Arabs as lacking normal human emotions and responses, as willingly sacrificing their kids in the conflict, as being complicit and supporters of Hamas actions that have brought a brutal and criminal response from Israel. THAT IS WHAT IS RACIST - not your support for Israel, or other disagreements on a messageboard.
You can argue that Hamas use civilians as a 'human shield' (I believe that is partly true), you can pretend the conflict started 2 weeks ago with no cause or provocation, and you can promote the Israeli state view of how they have tried to avoid civilian casualties (despite over 400 dead who were in the wrong place, didn't get a warning or didn't run fast enough). But don't throw mock outrage around when you are challenged on what is clearly a racist depiction of the Palestinian people of Gaza.
You think they don't love their kids enough? Just watch the f**king TV pictures. If you believe the comment about the Arabs and their kids, then at least have the courage to accept the label that comes with it.

I am happy to argue over the politics of the conflict and the invasion of Gaza, to discuss the emotive language used on both sides, and to talk about the origins of this and the possible solutions to the conflict. You are right - I don't know you, and you don't know me. You don't know if I am Jewish, and I don't know if you are an atheist. All I know is what you have written and the comments of others that you have endorsed.
Most of your reply is totally irrelevant to the issue of racist stereotyping of an entire people. You know fine well that it is done as part of a propaganda war across the world (by both sides) which in this case tries to paint Palestinian civilians as partly responsible for the deaths or mutilation of their children. I think that is outrageous and racist. I don't use that label lightly. You 'stand by your comments' but then avoid dealing with the central point - just repeating your general pro-Israeli views, denunciation of Hamas, and accusing me of having 'racial issues' for challenging the disgusting view you are so happy to support.
For your information I haven't said anything about Jewish people in any of the Gaza threads, I have commented on the actions of the Israeli government and the Israeli state. I believe that some of the bravest and most impressive voices in the whole region are Israeli Jews (you won't be surprised that they are not supporters of Likud!), I think the actions of the Israeli government to protect the status quo (through its own actions or through Egypt) are a crime, are politically motivated and will not secure peace and security for Israelis or for Jewish people in some other parts of the world where they have suffered a rise in anti-semitic attacks.

You go back to repeating all of your points about Hamas and the legitimacy of the Israeli government actions.
If you saw a 1930s Nazi poster with a cartoon Jewish financier on it that said 'Jews love money more than they love their children' you would be outraged. So would I. This is the same type of racist stereotyping - and done for a calculated political reason - to justify collective punishment and to make the civilian population of Gaza appear to have shared responsibility for their own deaths, maiming and displacement. 43% of the Gaza strip is now covered by the Israeli 'No Go' and 'Evacuate' announcements. Palestinian deaths are approaching 600. The propaganda war is in full flow - and comments like the one I objected to are absolutely part of that - and as the title of the thread says, they are a 'disgrace'.
There is clearly no point adding to this. You think ' there will never be peace until the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews'. is fair comment. I don't and I'm disgusted by it.

My recent posts are about a racist comment you endorsed - that is why they are about race, in relation to a racist portrayal of Arab people everywhere.
You attacked me for calling a racist comment what it is - racist - then avoided dealing with the issue over god knows how many subsequent posts, apart from a load of cheap name calling of your own, and repeating all your other views on the conflict.
The comment was about 'Arabs' in general - not the military wing of Hamas. It was crude racist stereotyping in my view and done for a political reason. But I have already said that, and you have already said you agree with the comment. If you are not going to explain why you agree with the comment, and constantly side-step onto what you see (with some justification) as cynical use of civilians by Hamas, then there is nothing more to say. I am angry and disgusted but will end it here.

And yet again you refuse to deal with the comment I described as racist - and instead rant on about Hamas, 'racist cards' and up the ante to describe me (and people like me) as 'scum of the earth'. You don't appear to be stupid, so this must all be deliberate.
WTF are you on about with neither word 'hamas' nor 'arabs' is racist? What are you on? Of course they aren't racist words....
Yes Hamas have put many of their weapons in buildings used by civilians - I have accepted that. That wasn't the issue.
None of that is relevant to why I said that comment that you endorsed is RACIST. I bloody well hope you have got a problem with that word. Your refusal to deal with the disgusting ideas behind that comment, and your constant (and increasingly abusive) attempts to deflect from it, say a lot about you. Pathetic and sad. You think that by calling people scum and accusing them of playing a race card that you can stifle any criticism of the way some people are prepared to portray the Palestinian civilian victims of this invasion? It is the same mind set that constantly sees any critics of Israel denounced as anti-semites. Some may be, but many are not - including Israeli Jews who have made the same point I did about the way some supporters of the Israeli invasion have tried to make out that Palestinian civilians are complicit in their own suffering.
That is it - no point in trading insults like this - so if you're going to have one last rant, make it a good one!

israel got attacked
hamas attacked from civilian areas
israel responds
and people like yourself attack anyone that can see this was thought out thoroughly in advance
by hamas
