Re: OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED BY CLUB - RED SEATS

Club makes a decision, fans continually blame each other.... What a fucked up club this is...

Stadium looks good with a bigger tier, and the design outlay looks good..
The colour is another matter...

But why the sudden uproar? We've known this for months through rumour and what not.

But by all means continue to blame one another...

Whole thing is a mess.

If people want to talk about business then they should surely know the key to a successful business is a personal relationship and that means the fans have to have trust in an owner.
Hes made it personal by taking the history of the club and turning it into a disneyland

This fella is spot on.

Can't believe how many city fans knew the seats were going to be red and have only just started to do anything about it. Just like when we went to red in the first place.

That is why our clubs a laughing stock from top to bottom.

Because you can't protest about something that hasn't been confirmed by the club yet. They will just shoot you down by saying nothing has been decided yet.

That's a poor excuse.
Waiting until things have been done before protesting is stupid.
Just like the shirt colour change nobody does anything until it's to late.

Looks horrible with the blue as expected. Don't like the ayatollah idea either. Hopefully the seats are as dark as they look on that image so they'll be less noticeable.

Nauseating, repulsive, vile, detestable, sickening, abhorrent...

Take your pick but ultimately it's very sad.

I won't be there to see it.

It would look shocking even if it was in blue, f*cking stick men for christ sake ! Between this stand and the badge you'd think they've employed a child from primary school.

Unbelievable, truly can't believe what the clubs become.

I like it tbh!

Even blue it would be nice to have a diffefent colour second tier, adds a bit more character.

Yellow would be ideal but atleast we can pretend Red is for the national team.

It's a bit like the genius who discovered that \o/ <o> \o/ is an approximation of the Ayatollah. Mildly amusing, but not as hi-tech as :ayatollah:

The trouble is, the only time you'll see this design is when those seats are empty. If that is during a game, it proves we can't sell the stadium out.

Those of you justifying the red by saying that Wales play there, hang your heads in shame!!!! The Welsh flag has a dragon on it. That dragon has been incorrectly high jacked as our badge, a symbol now, not of national pride, but the servitude we have been subjected to.

I know that red contrasts with BLUE. Doesn't take Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen to work that one out!! What's that got to do with the true identity of Cardiff City Football Club???? NOTHING!!!

Annis, you put up a list in a previous post of the things we were supposed to have (Debt-free club, etc.). That was answered by words to the effect of "Well let's wait and see". What a pathetic way to address your points!! I don't necessarily agree with everything you say, but you wrote facts, and they were dismissed.

Someone posted that the new stand would be only 1/3 full. I've got news for you lot: THE WHOLE STADIUM WILL BE ONLY 1/3 FULL IF WE CARRY ON LIKE THIS!!

I don't want to see the club doing badly, of course not. I don't want to be able to say "I told you so". I want to see a successful, well-run club where you can't get a ticket unless you hurry up and the official merchandise has to be ordered because it is sold out. Those things won't happen until the club returns to BLUE and the accepted nickname of the club is in harmony with the badge. BLUEBIRDS unite.

Let's get behind the team and manager in the meantime and make the stands bounce as they did during 2012/13 to help regain promotion in style.

Most knew this was going to happen over TWO years ago it was palmed off as stupid and stop making things up along with being mocked on here. Well its here and its to f*cking late now. So we got the club we deserve, a club that hardly anyone identifys themself with to what they once knew. More changes to follow soon to but let's sweep it under the carpet to.

Also you know perfectly well, why Tan has put Red seats in.

How can posters defend him, never mind all opinions welcome.

By the way I still miss Ninian Park  :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

The clubs fan base is divided big time
The debt has risen more and more
We are back in the Championship
Season ticket sales are down on the previous 2 years
We are not Debt Free
The brand did not do well in Asia or Malaysia, failed big time
Training facilities still not done

What ever you try to twist or say you have to admit the above are all Facts yes or no?

Need to correct you YET again, I've never defended Tan, but the future of this club means more to me than 5000 plastic seats.

Grow up.

What a load of rubbish. You've constantly defended Tan and the rebrand. It's even been posted in this thread.

Then, when we were struggling last season, you suddenly start crying about the blue.

Now, it's all looking rosy again & you're back to defending the rebrand. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Stadium looks good with a bigger tier, and the design outlay looks good..
The colour is another matter...

But why the sudden uproar? We've known this for months through rumour and what not.

But by all means continue to blame one another...

Seriously?! We got a brand spanking new stand in our new stadium, expanded capacity, and people bitch about the seat colour??

As for those sticking up fo rit on here I'm just so glad you are a minority of a minority of a minority.

Do you honestly believe anyone who buys merchandise, tickets or even a match day programme supports the red? If that's the case do Carl and Annis support it? Do they not attend matches? Do they not cheer when we score in red? Oh right.

I have not bought a programme, merchandise, food or anything else from the club for 2 years other than my season ticket.
If I am honest it took me 17 games to clap them in 2012,then I thought its not Malky's or the players fault, cheer them on.

Also I am more there at home games to keep the BLUE alive in the stadium.

But after 43 years of not missing a season its like a drug, u love the name Cardiff City and u fight for your TRUE IDENTITY BLUE :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Also I never defend Tan for what he has done like you :o

Did pick the free scarf tho didn't you? Mmmmmmm

You have defended VT , said he surrounded by yes men who have fed him nonsense. Next day you call him a dictator tho.

Where have I defended Tan, please show me?

I cant win with some of you

Yes i have said he is surrounded yes men and yes I feel they lied to him, but Tan wants to be surrounded by them as anyone who disagrees with him or has a difference of opinion, gets sacked.

I know we have been saying it for the past year or so..i know the blue scarves at 19.27 is great, but i think a complete walk out for at least 15 minutes whilst the team are playing would be good, yes its harsh on the players which i am fully behind, but the whole media would pick up on this and really start the ball rolling, yes we have had a lot of coverage due to the protest. think its time we try something else . :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Serious question tho?

The rebrand - shouldnt all the venom be aimed at the board who accepted the investment linked to rebrand not VT himself?

If you offered to buy a business subject to conditions you want ie a rebrand? Then the current owners can either accept or decline? So didnt the board at the time accept therefore they are the villians not Tan??

Why when the investment subject to rebrand was made where were the thousands marching which could have stopped it in its tracks??

Truth is we wanted penny and the bun.

It could have been worse,Annis u say why don't ppl wear read most are either made to feel that this isn't a choice as they are made to feel that they are doing something wrong but a lot will have been premier league fans or as u call them on here plastics, thing is the plastics change their tune like the weather so are in blue now shouting shit they haven't really got a opinion on just to fit in,I ain't a red fan or a tan fan but I do think fans shouldn't be alienated by other fans we all pay the same hard worked for money on watching Cardiff city whether these fans want to wear red blue white whatever that's their choice and needs to stop being pushed in ppls faces like it's up to others what way u can support a team. Saying all that I won't wear read at the stadium but I think the seats look decent, they could have looked worse

Rebrand threads are actually getting boring now. I will say new stand looks great.
