Mr Tan has publicly offered a compromise i.e. support Ole in getting the team promoted next season and he will discuss a compromise on the kit.
In this context he also said something which in my view effectively went 'I won't be seen to be bullied into a U-turn so back off and give me a chance to deal with this gracefully.' What's wrong with that?

If it wasn't so ridiculous, one could almost believe there is someone out there who hopes that if Mr Tan decide to cut his losses, he could buy the club on the cheap and a little help along the way from a sustained anti-Tan campaign would be helpful.

That could be a collaborate of someone. But it would only work if the club are devaluated enough for the collaborators to sustain the dept and the assets are big enough to carry them.

think it was just said we would be debt free in days there was a thread about it a little while ago! i didnt think it was said by tan but by another city employee??? but not 100% sure who

It's never been said by Tan. Chuckles posted a link to a bbc article, Tan's words are all about the long term and him leaving a debt free club

Tan is the reason for all our clubs current problems. He could have been the solution. However his warped red ideology/superstition/lunacy has ripped the heart out of a once proud club.

Next season I shall make the journey from home to cardiff (5 hour round trip) with my boys but it will only be to 2-3 games. I shall do the away games where we will play in blue as at least then I can identify with the club I have supported for 34 seasons.

I live about 15 miles from the CCS and only do away games now. Sad times!

I still can't get my head around the fact that people are still moaning. We are a bigger club now, known throughout the world. It's never going to change. Sometimes you just can't have your own way. That's life.

The only people who consider us a laughing stock are the die-hard former football criminals who hanker back to the good old days ( which were crap and scary for most of us who were there in the 70-90s).

I think perhaps we should close this board down and stay at home on a Saturday afternoon or go shopping with the missus.

I will ignore the roath jerky piece other than to say that with investment, CCFC are a much better long term proposition than the jerks and as well as buying the share capital, the buyer would have to somehow take on the debt*.But of course a canny buyer (probably with a consortium)would be looking to deal at a forced sale price if he could engineer it and that is why a sustained and effective anti-Tan campaign might be welcomed or even encouraged and directed by such a schemer if such a thing could be organised. I said above that the prospect such a scenario is ridiculous! And I can't believe for example that Annis would actively connive in seriously harming the club that he loves in support of such a tawdry scheme.

Well he changed his mind and didn't walk away when he was begged to stay and save the club!

His open offer is too public and too up-front for him to back down. In fact it would be even more difficult for him to do this if the fans accepted what he has said at face value and effectively agreed to deliver their part of the bargain in the expectation he would do likewise.

As I said above, he also implied that taking the heat off would make it easier for him to trim.

I was prepared to give Tan time to deliver on his promise at the start of the rebrand exercise but as time has gone on and his recent interview stating he wouldn't do the full debt to equity swap has left me feeling angry about the whole situation.

I honestly cant still get my head around it that Tan still has his lovers/followers after all he has done to our club, ripped it apart,destroyed the heart of it,divided it that we feel no pride,£150 mill in debt, a laughing stock in the media and around the world, fans so fed up with Tans circus,some even blaming everyone else in the club but Tan, yet Tan is without doubt 100% in control of everything and has the final say,no matter what and has done from day one including sacking 3 CEO's in less than 2 years.

I cant believe some of the posts on here in support of Tan, but thats their opinions, I am shocked/stunned,but I suppose some dont want to see the truth.

Even some of the ardent fans like Steve Davies,Carl Curtis, Gary aka Castleblue,who have from day one given Tan the benefit of the doubt,no longer have any respect for him.

10,000 less fans next season(that speaks volumes) and No identity,

And guess what were back in the Championship.
