I'm an Air Traffic Controller in the RAF and when they were first investigating the oil down off the coast I was stationed there. A helicopter was routing back and fore the rig. We gave a great service to the helicopter and the next night the pilot and one of his pax brought us some goodies. The pax was a guy involved in the drilling process and advised us to get some shares in rockhopper company which I believe was the previous name of Falklands oil and gas. He said in the next couple of months they would be in a position to announce the oil found was a good enough quality to be sold and the shares would rocket. I thought about it but didn't then boom. Announcement mate shares through the roof.

Actually my friends father fought as an engineer in the falklands war and my own father delivered blood since then we have had the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan causing chaos by poking our nose in other peoples affairs. As a tax payer when our health service is in a mess and people are living from food banks I don't wish to fund the imperialist bullshit.
