My brother has A levels and would never be accepted into Loughborough university like I had the opportunity to. It is a similar standard to Oxford and Cambridge.

Deadly serious. As ive said it ranks higher than both oxford and cambridge and is currently the 16th best university in the world

Check the entry requirements to a degree in all three universities - they will be similar.

Well for one you can't get into Loughborough on BTEC's alone you have to have at least 1 A level so I'm not sure how you managed to get accepted

Well you can and I did, its that simple (although that was a decade ago, mot sure if its changed). I have two friends that did accept the offer and graduated with excellent grades. One is now development officer at Leicester Rugby club

In fact graig college has strong links with Loughborough university and regularly play eachother home and away as a result.

More fool them then and probably why they are lagging behind the likes of Loughborough considering the 12 modules for a national diploma are equivalent to A-Levels.

What is the point on doing unrelated A levels when you want to get into sport. I would have wasted my 9 A grade GCSE's

If I wish to take the masters of business course, i am sufficiently qualified to do so (in fact more than sufficient) - however i dont need to as I am a multi millionaire. This who academic argument is a bit fruitless as a result really isnt it.mdoes Tan have a degree in business then?

it depends on the person and their circumstances. I was wanting to set up a business there so was convenient, not to mention i was still playing high level football at the time - so again, what is this discussion for again? Does Tan have a degree in business?

people want to do different things young man. Would a doctor take finance? Would a dentist take maths? No.
I wanted to manage a business in the sports related sector (and will in the future) - and am now far richer than most people that leave any university on the planet
