Funny thing is everyone on here thinks Malky is a terrible man for buying badly. Are they going to criticise Pochettino as well and call him a crook? (£15m on a striker who punched a team mate and was loaned out after three goals and is likely to leave for far less in summer)?

It's just just cornflop milky fukt up with, he basically threw the whole 40+ mil away, with only caulker worth the money IMO, just about.

Maybe spent a little over the odds for Medel, probably worth £7-8m in reality.

Cornelius was a waste but then we also shipped him out without giving him a real crack, he might have been worth something or made an impact in a few years even if nowhere near the £8m mark.

The other signings were all peanuts and Caulker was a steal for £9m, we will be getting more than that for him this summer for sure.

We spent £40m on players really worth a maximum of around £15m. Medel is hyped so much its unbelievable. I wanted Wanyama to be honest who I still rate more highly as he has a lot more to his game than just sweeping up. Caulker is not a bad player but again over hyped - plenty of better English CB's.

£25m down the drain. That doesn't even factor in the other costs associated with the transfers.

Our best players IMO still are Marshall and Whittingham and our best youngster is Daehli who is an Ole signing.

I think we will get our money back on Caulker to be fair.

Whittingham was ruined by Malky's negative style of play. He went from a thriving attacking midfielder under Jones to a suppressed midfielder who just sat in midfield and contributed to set pieces. If he is allowed to flourish under Ole in the Championship then I believe we will see more of the old Whittingham.

I honestly believe Malky ruined him. He favoured workhorses like Cowie over technically gifted players like Whittingham. That's one of the worst things Malky did at this club.

I agree and people have forgotten how long it took Malky to introduce noone into the side this season. Work horses over flair was his motto I'm afraid
