The reason we have the liberty to engage in sport, and life in general, is for those who gave their lives in the war you toad.

After events this week, I will be surprised if this still goes ahead.

Will Tan do a minutes silence followed by playing the Scottish anthem for the school girl having a wall collapsing onto her?

Will Tan do a minutes silence followed by a Chile anthem for those 5 people killed by that earthquake?

No, instead it looks like we will do a minutes silence for passengers who may or may not be dead on a plane that has yet to be found, followed by Tan using that as an excuse to ram his Malaysian anthem down our throats.

But what will annoy me the most, is if Tan goes ahead with this minutes silence and dismisses showing any recognition for our ex captain Fred Stansfield who died Sunday.

In fact, if Tan goes ahead with this minutes silence, I would love it if we all did a minutes applause chanting "there's only one Fred Stansfield" instead. That wouldn't be disrespectful, that would be a show of unity from our fans showing respect to one of our ex players and ex captains, sticking up for our club and not giving in to Tan's demands.

Apologies, I believed this was genuinely happening! I hope the only minutes silence (or applause) is for our ex captain this Saturday then. :ayatollah:
