Nice job, nice cosy pension and holidays. 'Fluffy and pink' performance management in a bubble away from the real world. The real public in the real world know the score and the vast majority are totally against this 1970's type action. Stop them 6 months pay if they strike or manage them out of their very cushy 'jobs'

For once I agree with you.
As for the "Thats not the contract we signed". You could bet your last dollar the salary they initially signed up for has increased, but no complaint the contract was changing then.

Not at all.
In this contract you keep banging on about did they state that it was a lifetime contract, and conditions could only change for the better?

I won't correct your grammar as I'm on strike

It seems you are fighting a losing battle in this thread and you have resorted to name calling to cover it up. We do not support this outdated military childish action. Get over it, we all know the score with teachers and their over paid jobs......just like other public sector workers always looking for an easier life at the expense of their service users. Striking is pathetic in this day and age........of course we are all clowns for having an opinion based on fact.

The fact is the public sector has been living off the taxes of other for many years now, it's not their fault it's the governments fault for letting it get this way
The reason the private sector pensions and wages are like they are is so that they are sustainable long term simple as that there may be some private sector companies that could pay more in wages etc but they won't as profit is their game
Public sector has no worries about profit and now simply because Britain is skint they are finally reviewing where the money is going and clearly too much is being lost through public sector over inflated pensions and wages to some of the public sector jobs
We all have to suffer it I think it's only fair that the public sector does too

Quite clearly and that's another reason this country is in the mess it is! Most MPs come from the same background and these guys are the ones balancing the countries books lol
Never worked for a business that needs to make a profit to stay afloat yet they try and keep Britain afloat
