What are they bungs for? i cant think of a situation why Malky would require a bung when signing someone? For what purpose does someone give Malky money?

Stop shit stirring Chuckles dear.
You Chuckles dear are grumbling about gossip when you felt it was your right to complain about fans smoking weed in a certain pub that was no more after that. Hope you were proud.

You seriously think my question was why does malky want money?I want money too, can someone give me a bung? However there is no reason for someone to give me a bung....
So, my question was, why would someone want to give malky a bung.

Agents take a % of a players contract, not just the fee but the wages and signing on fee. Agent says to prospective new manager "give my client £45k per week (when player is clearly not worth it) ill give you a cut of the % ill make. Its not hard Roathie.
for the record, Malky being called Milky has nothing to do with transfer bungs.

But that makes no sense. I assume you don't understand the role of the manager in a transfer situation then.
The manager will have no say what so ever in how much a player gets paid. So again, why would Malky receive a bung to sign a player HE wants? the bung in this situation (if existed) would be given BY Malky not TO malky.

Some managers still have free reign. Malky and Moody negotiated contracts when they were here. It was Moody's job. Nowadays bungs dobt happen as much because its club directors etc that handle contracts. Back years ago it used to be managers, hence the George Graham and John Jensen bung.
Like I said, no bung has been found during Malkys reign and his nickname by the players was regarding other deals not transfer related.

I don't make myself out as anything. Now lets cut the nonsense, if you want to contribute then do it the manner we all are and stop being such an idiot.
Now then, lecture over.... Bungs, yep fully understand they happen. Not disputing it.
If a club wanted a cardiff player then I can understand a bung in order for Malky to let him go. If Malky wanted a player I can see a situation where Malky or Cardiff would pay a bung.
However my question (which still hasnt been answered) is - if Malky is the buyer, then why is he receiving a bung?

If this was a thread about Moodie then id have no issues, however it was an accusation levelled at Malky hence the confusion.

why would anyone want a bung.............you put a name in..but its same thing in all walks of life..
WHY.............that one word sums you up pal.......WHY.
you must live a very narrow life.........one of them people that keeps asking while watching a film, can you explain that......
must go,i have WORK to do........maybe even bungs to give....
try watching the film back to school, its a comedy not factual, but its also a sort of how bungs work for beginners lesson too.
i think my deduction you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about is proven in that one poorly constructed passage you just wrote. You must have an IQ of a 9 year old

Oh no it's Bodin wrote:If you wish to post with such authority I suggest you know your history a little better. George Graham is the only British manger to be found guilty of accepting a "bung" during a transfer deal. The deal involved the purchase by Arsenal of two Scandanavian players Pal Lyderson and John Jensen, the "bung" was payed to Graham by the players' agent Rune Huage.
Just to stress the alleged illegal payments were payed to the purchasing manger by the players' agent.
There appears to be no evidence that a similar situation has occurred in the case of the Cornelius deal, however, it suggests that payments to the purchasing manager have certainly happened in the past.
I'm certain you will disagree, but history is always a good source of evidence.

It's quite simple, the player is valued at £XXXX, however the selling team would like £YYYY, so Malky Agrees £XXXX amount with the player, gets the Value of £YYYY from tan and cops the inbetween...
