What thats got to do you not understanding football i dont know.

I blame the goal on Noone, as I did hours ago on this thread. Whitts could have closed the passer down quicker but even so Noone should have covered it.

I firmly believe you are letting your personal feelings of whitts cloud your judgement as is Barnett.

You were never forgiving of Rudy in this way.

Rudy didnt play nearly 300 games for Cardiff and wasnt our best player for 3 years.

Whitts has earned his stripes and is deserving of my support unlike you who cant wait to stick the knife into him quicker than you demolish a mixed kebab.

Regardless of what I thought if Rudy I never booed him like the pack of cunts who turned on Whitts yesterday.

how have I stuck the knife in?

Im saying he is playing crap, which he is. If he was the old whitts then id love him in the starting 11, sadly I think Malky has ripped him to pieces and it looks like its gonna take time to fix him

As Gringo said initially if it was Whitts who did what Noone did there would be 50 threads on it.

I've stated that my villain here is Fabio, but looking at the whole move and who could improve then Whitts should have got closer, if he can't manage that after a 50 yard run then he should either play as a forward with few defensive duties or get his attitude right. I think the problem Whitts has is a laidback appearance which is often mis interpreted as not trying. What happened yesterday is very embarrassing for a professional, will Whitts ever recover?

I agree the knives are out for Whitts but not from me, I've just always thought he'd fail ar rgis level due to what I see as a frail mentality. I'd love him to prove me wrong because has quality

When you thought it was whitts who was covering you were all for a bollicking.

Now its been pointed out it was Noone with the awful defending then its "harsh" to have a go at him.

What a prick.

Are you on drugs? I've said that Fabio looks the villain and afreed that Witts could've pressed the passer.
I;m not sure Noone is the main villain but Noone's hypothetical crime is a decision making one. If Whitt's is at fault then his crime is lack of effort(again) which is far worse and deserving of a bollocking. Too me, Whitts looks a bit far away from the passer. I still think Fabio is off the pace because he was slow to anticipate and provide cover.
What's happened to your anti Gary Medel campaign <ario?

That goal had nothing to do with Fabio but was 100% Craig Noone's fault.
I like Noone and it's great seeing him rip defences apart but I believe he was late being spotted as a footballer and it shows. He doesn't look like he has been coached as to his defensive responsibility.

Why didn't Fabio cover him? He wasn't marking anyone else, what was he meant to be doing? Providing cover for Noone incase of a run beind? thatis my opinion. Would ne interesting to hear a coaches view on it

Fabio had just tracked back from a central position and maybe he could have taken a position a tad deeper. But there shouldn't have been any danger. Noone switched off and was defending with body completely square!

Why can't people just take every situation on it's own merit instead of defending individuals.

I'm not anti - Noone or anyone else for that matter. I just believe he could help his full back out a bit more.
He was also at fault for United's first goal and cost us 2 goals against Man City.

Whitts has been crap for ages, he didn't deserve to get booed, however the manager was right to make the change when he did, before it got any worse and he was justified as his substitution won us the game. Brave management, which is what is needed to get us out of the hole dug by Malky. Stop whingeing Polo, your starting to get as bad as old woman Chuckles

Whitts was poor yesterday as he has been for the last couple of months, he just needs a break from the first team. Noone was at fault for the first goal but Whitts lack of effort to close down the passer was poor. Lets not forget that poor attempt to even track back to cover Declan John before he got taken off. Give him some time off let him get his head together and hopefully he will come back the player he was.
