Tactically he got it wrong today.

Campbell was isolated up top for much of the game, needs support and help to compete against the centre halves.

The starting midfield five need to offer more movement when we got possession of the ball.

Mark Hudson playing as the left sided centre half does not look comfortable.

The manager will need time to assess the squad and their individual capabilities but as much as that result hurt us today, Ole will have learned a lot.

Nothing to learn, from where I'm sitting. I've had enough negative football all season. Go down throwing punches not holding on the ropes!!!!!!!!

Biggest problem, was that the midfield was too stagnant and slow moving the ball, and lack imagination and creativity. I saw Noone and Campbell make excellent runs throughout the game, but we dont have the midfielders with the vision. How many times did Whitts make the safe choice and move the ball about 5 yards. We need more pace and creativity going forward. Football at premiership level is all about movement pace, vision, and creativity, and sadly we lack in every department at the moment. I'm convinced Ole knows this, and will put it right.

Where have I said that he's something special? All I've asked is that some don't belittle him and respect his achievements a little more. Not too much to ask.

Barry Chuckles complaining about belittlement.

Ironic.

Hoping desperately he'll learn .......fast! Hope he doesn't do the Malky trick again and get fooled into taking Medel off. Cost us a goal eventually!

We desperately needed a goal on Saturday, Eikren was more likely to make a contribution to that outcome than Medel was.
The problem first half was the lack of speed in our transition play between defence and attack, it was painfully slow. Only once did we get onto their back four quickly, when Kin hit the bar. The introduction of Bellamy at half time totally transformed the pace of our attacking play, we were more urgent and varied but West Ham sat back defended well and broke up play effectively.
