Bigger the capacity they better and the more attractive we will be to future investment, also it's a only being increased for the European Super Cup (possibly Bayern Munich versus Juventus). Which is a great coup for the club, also future wales games against one of the european giants are more likely to take place at out stadium with a terrific atmosphere. Also the new tier will give our ground a bit more character than just the bowl design.

And besides it is already being built so bit of a pointless thread.

It shows intent and ambition. A progressive club is a club that will attract high quality players, coaching staff and investment. All good in my book. 'Build it and they will come'

Totally agree. It's all about long term progression. If we had the 5000 extra seats this season then our average crowd would have been 30,000 plus no problem. Boxing day, New Years Day and the Saturday in between have traditionally been hit or miss for sporting attendances. Mainly due to Family matters and the full sporting calendar at this time.
A 5:30 kick off, live on TV on a Saturday evening in the Christmas period. I'm surprised we had so many there. I personally had to arrive late at a planned get together last night due to the game. Two of my mates who also attended the get together didn't use their season tickets yesterday for the same reason.
The new stand will be a huge plus for the club. Let's be a bit more positive for a change

Before this gets turned into a mud slinging match between Cardiff and Swansea fans I want to point out that until we sell out for consecutive seasons why would we expand? Makes no sense. I can't see us getting more than 20k regularly if we go down.

There's a gap, that's what matters Baz.

Only a fool would deny that we're better both on the pitch overall, and off the pitch.

And you're not a fool :thumbright:

There's only one person clutching at straws here... NJ.

As my signature suggests, the Jacks thought they were clearly much better than us & would have "no problem" beating us...

How wrong they were... :laughing6:

Only a small gap though & certainly not as big as you have suggested previously.. Again, I refer to my signature. :thumbright:

Whilst I can't deny that you have the better players, which is only to be expected in your 3rd season at this level, I think some of the Jacks are shocked at how close the two teams are... Not that they would ever dare to admit it. :laughing6:

Yep, anything can happen in one off games as you proved v Man City and had been proven time and time again over the years by many underdogs raising their game.

The true test though is league position as I'm sure you'll agree :thumbright:

Correct, which is why we cannot claim to be better than Manchester City. The closeness in our teams performances though, make it much more accurate way of comparing. :thumbright:

nj you are right you are better on and off field but thats no garauntee of safety in any league! also that situation may not last, as if we had won we would be 1point behind you? give us couple seasons like you and sure things could be lot different as we do have room to improve, at moment you are not excactly on the up form wise!

Fell free to consider yourself close to us, you should be considering the money you've spent. Just be aware you're inferior :thumbright:

Unless you consider Palace to be better than you of course :thumbright:

So inferior that we beat you. :laughing6:

"Tearing up premier league defences" - except in Cardiff, obviously. :laughing6:

Keep clutching at those straws. You appear more bitter than normal tonight.

And if we hadn't been in Europe this season we'd be better off than we are now Al. C'est la vie.

I wouldn't swap it though :thumbright:

Still, keep trying to "tear those premier league defences apart"..... :laughing6:

no i wouldnt if in same position, like the people want to be in div 2 but in blue? why ffs you take what you have and embrace it good or bad may never happen again! waited 51 yrs premier 80yrs fa cup final god how many fans would love to see club do both things?
