This drink seems somehow all the more appropriate now for some reason........

Swansea " Bitter Zombie" Cocktail Recipe:
Mix the following ingredients:

5 parts Jealousy.
4 parts Bitterness.
3 parts Hopelessness.
2 parts Homelessness.
1 part Poverty.
1 part Prescription Drugs.

Pour over crushed Backwater ice and sip slowly over 50 years. Add methadone, self-harming and sour grapes to taste.

If you honestly believed we"parked the bus"in the second half you're more bitter than I thought. I saw that phrase several times on planet simpleton last week. That blinkered cliche along with"Hoofball"needs to put on the back burner for a while :laughing6:

Outfought, out thought, out muscled and out passed in the second half to put you arrogant twats down a couple of pegs :laughing6:

Beautiful

Not in the 2nd half no you didn't. In the 1st half you most certainly did.

Whatever was said to our lot at half time should never be said again as we sat back and couldn't string two passes together.

But hey, since Sunday there have only been one set of fans who have been arrogant twats as you put it and you seem to be the cheerleading twat-in-chief :thumbright: . The vast majority of our lot have accepted we didn't deserve anything out of the game especially given that second half performance.

I've nothing at all to be bitter about. Disappointed? Certainly. Bitter? Nah. Life's far too short.

But then if you honestly believe your system is anything other than park the bus, hoof it forward, win free kicks/corners and hope to score from the set piece then you're deluded. :thumbright:

That said, it worked so hey ho, onto the next game.

Can you remember how we won the corner that led to the goal? Was that a hoofball from medel to KCT?
Or how did we win the corner that led to our second goal against man city? Was that hoofed forward?

You make out the corners had come from lumping it forward and hoping for the best. Wrong.

You hate the thought that we can play football too, yet can mix it up,when required

I'm assuming those things are the rule then rather than the exception? :thumbright:

You mean that world class hoof from Medel over the head of that cart horse Taylor or that 18 pass move which led to Gunnarsons equaliser against Man City? Pure Hoofball

:laughing6:

Exactly. It's one thing him protesting that he isn't bitter yet his posts are screaming exactly that :laughing6:

As well as the two I've referred to, CityGent also makes a good point re the gunner goal against man city. What about the Mutch strike, or the flowing move that led to Whitts goal against hull?
Or how Mutch created the chance for odemwingie to score against Newcastle. Was that hoofball?

Enough exceptions for you?

I've no doubt you've had moments, as do every team, as you've catalogued. If you're happy with you're style it's fine by me.

I'm just saying it's not something I'd like from my team week in, week out.

Will never be enough for nj. He's a bitter little man whose anger is shining through. He cannot accept that Cardiff are currently the number 1 team in Wales. Never mind nj the capital city side gave the noisy neighbours a footballing lesson on Sunday. I'm looking forward to watching you squirm your way through the relegation battle. Is bony really the answer? No doubt you still think Shelvey is better than Medel.

This from the guy who said if you won I wouldn't be seen on here yet was proven wrong when I posted the thread I started after you won at the Liberty and from the guy who when after conversation following Sundays game and confronted with this:

Keep going nj. You constantly slag off our style of football despite the fact that we play a mixed style. Sometimes it is move it forward quickly other times it's pass and move. The best football played on Sunday was from Cardiff and the only team to create any real chances was Ccfc. Do yourself a favour and stay away from here. Go off to planet swamp or wherever you came from and you can mess your pants over Shelvey and his antics and remember what Tate and trundle did.

As well as the two I've referred to, CityGent also makes a good point re the gunner goal against man city. What about the Mutch strike, or the flowing move that led to Whitts goal against hull?
Or how Mutch created the chance for odemwingie to score against Newcastle. Was that hoofball?

Enough exceptions for you?

I've no doubt you've had moments, as do every team, as you've catalogued. If you're happy with you're style it's fine by me.

I'm just saying it's not something I'd like from my team week in, week out.

For some reason that makes me bitter? Care to explain how? :?

Here's a clue -
"But then if you honestly believe your system is anything other than park the bus, hoof it forward, win free kicks/corners and hope to score from the set piece then you're deluded"

You think your general system/approach is other than that? Honestly?

Just look at your fans posts following the Norwich game.

If I'm bitter, then so are they :?

Already pointed out most of our goals have come from playing football, directly or indirectly. At times we haven't played well, at times very poorly, but we are a newly promoted team finding our way. You level the hoofball tag as a way of trying to maintain some kind of moral superiority over us when in reality your style is often ineffective. We don't play with a big man up front so why would we simply hoof it up to Campbell or odemwingie as our preferred style?

You seem to think that keeping the ball between your back 4 and GK is exciting attacking football? You played as much hoofball as we did on Sunday. You are deluded.

I was far too pissed to remember the first half so won't bother commenting. However the second half my honest opinion is we did park the bus but so what? Cardiff fans on here are kidding themselves if they think we play an attractive style of football, it's shit but effective and gets results.

The Jacks never looked like scoring, Bony came on and I have to say he must be the worst 10m plus player I have ever seen, what a waste of money.

A few things! Firstly judging by some of yoyr posts and over excitement I would say u are rather pleased for your selfs! Well it goes to show that beating us is all that matters to u and goes to shiw hiw much resoect u have for ys, wutch brings me to my second point, I must say I could hardley here your fans and most off the time could only here us? At first I thought the mic's in your areas of the ground were fucked but when u scored it was better.
So what happened to the so called great atmosphere?even a aussi guy watching with me thought we were the home side.
And last I have to say well done as u shut us down well but how on earth can u call us boring when u had nothing but long balls in the box, and lets face it you had to be at your best to beat us but we are struggling at this time so you did beat us but when we are at our worst and aint up and running yet.
But if your honest you will say we have the quality to get us out and do well, thats u at your best and cant keep that up.
So yes it hurts but im not worryed and unlike many on here we wont be calling for ml to be sacked as we have faith in our team and management.

Let me translate.

I can't believe we lost, I'm truly stunned and eternally devastated! Grrrr I'm so angry, you bunch of poo heads! What I'm going to do now to save face is to completely f**k it up and make myself look like a laughing stock. What I will do is comment on the volume of the crowd, to make it even worse I'm going to say that we (Swansea) were much louder when clearly any unbiased supporter would admit it wasn't the loudest of derbies but Swansea contributed nothing post kick off. Finally I just want to say although the stats show you scored a f*cking goal (poo heads) and we never, I'm going to attack your style of play which was pretty effective, gritty and passionate with more passes made in our half than we made in your.s..but our back four made more passes than jimmy Saville at a under 15's beauty pageant so IN YOUR FACE!

Now that I have clearly put you in your place I'm going to pray to god that you don't beat us at the non council paying council owned stadium...otherwise I will have to criticise your, ummmm.....OH f**k OFF, I HATE YOUUUU. I WANT MY MUMMY!!

The Good Ship Liberty seems to have run aground ! Is keepball a better option than hoofball , I'm not convinced !? ? Possession is only beneficial if you hurt your opponent with it - stunningly absent from the Jacks again Sunday yet surely the most extravagant exponent of hoofball @ The CCS was Swim Away Shelvey .... and how he wasn't charged by the FA for dereliction of duty & impersonating a pro-footballer is beyond me ! Wot price being a fly on the wall of the Pikey's changing room post-match !?

All they ever had was the football, and now even that's gone. Still, they've got a lovely big pool that they can all Swim Away in as much as they like. Freaks.
