It certainly is.

If I watched babe pig in the city and as a result was claiming all pigs spoke perfect english the debate would be about the common sense of your argument.. You wouldnt have needed to see the film to know your viewpoint is illogical.

I think if you watched the documentary you'd know what we're on about. It was strange how bitter they were.

Im not talking about the documentary.

This is a thread about the documentary.

Its probably why you and other jacks choose this Mb rather than a Swansea Mb,you want to be part of the capital city.I bet the first thing you do on match day is look for our results,i think subconsciously your more a bluebird than a swan.

It certainly is. However when people generalise it no longer becomes about the documentary and the generalisation itself.

I watched a documentary on the nazis yesterday, if i started a thread stating that all germans were nazis... Do you really need to have seen the documentary to know thats illogical and pretty stupid?

That would be your opinion and your entitled to that.
Now we all know the majority of Swansea would swap places with Cardiff given the chance.

Im not saying anyone isnt entitled to an opinion, however im also entitled to point out how flawed and ridiculous it is.

The market research shows 9 out of 10 Swansea City fans are bitter about Cardiff as a city. :old:

The market research shows 1 out of 1 is bitter about Swansea, thats 100% by my calculations.

Wow, didnt realise it was so high personally

i never meant football fans.
People who live in Swansea would prefer to live in the capital city.a much better environment for families.also better prospects with work and so on.

not enough affordable housing.
a lot of housing will be built in Cardiff in the coming decade and that will bring the price to a more affordable level then we might see an exodus from Swansea to the capital.

The house markets are very similar indeed between the both cities, its my job and studied these markets for years. I can assure you its the case. There is also more job opportunities in Cardiff meaning housing price would fall in line with the average wage on offer, cost of living rate,

If people wanted these things to the point they felt bitter then they would move... Or just get in the car for half an hour

Its utterly illogical.

Very similar but not the same.
As for driving back and forth, petrol prices wont allow it for the majority of workers.

It doesn't have to be the same. You just pick and choose your areas that are. :thumbright:

Re: Bluebirds and swans documentary tonight

Tue Oct 29, 2013 5:32 pm

"People here do look and see all the things that Cardiff get and the money thats been spent there
and you know theres a feeling that Swansea gets forgotten about".

"Some Swansea supporters tell me they dont want to go up to Cardiff unless they absolutely have to which basically means if the Swans are playing there"

Two statements from a proffesional journalist working in the City and who attends games, meets other fans, who common sense would tell you has a better understanding of the feeling of the Swansea people than some agraphobic hermit living in Oz who doesnt come from Swansea in the first place. :laughing5:

No two areas are the same. You certainly can get like for like in the two cities, done it myself on three properties all sold like hotcakes

Yep abuse. Name calling because you are getting frustrated as usual.

Ok ill ask you a question. Do you think that the views or bitterness as you call it that you saw from a handful of people are the true scale of the feeling amongst Swansea fans in general?

You have alluded to it but skirted away from it many times, a bit like when you made up canas was 4th choice captain at betis and then pretended to put me on ignore so you didnt have to reply when i asked to explain

I thought it was a bit sad bringing up about the assembly and you get more than us Bollocks but then again I don't live in Swansea
What did make me laugh though was you lot wearing your red scarves and jerseys with pride and all this we are your capital nonsense , CCFC is not my capital

Spot on. I have never once heard anyone say anything about a welsh assembly, a slightly bigger cinema etc its complete and utter nonsense. If someone wants to go to something in cardiff then they will go, its hardly the Himalayas

They are trying to convince themselves they are better at something or have something better even if they have to take it completely away from football. Lets face it they dont have much to go on with regards to that :D

We had someone on here earlier defending that cardiff "hacked a website" better

No point continuing the debate until you qualify my so called illogical argument by actually showing me where I said all Swansea fans were bitter because of what was said in the documentary.

Until the C'est la vie, Roath-ie.

RoathMagic again makes himself look silly by telling people what they should think about a documentary he has not even seen.

He is least qualified to talk on this subject.

Better environment? Please explain how? I live half a mile from an area of outstanding natural beauty! I live on a coastal cycle path and have a local school in the highest bracket in wales. My mate went yo see a gig in Cardiff on the weekend. Couldn't believe the homeless begging ok n the streets. Hes a rugby fan from Pembrokeshire and has no interest in petty inter city rivalry.
There was banter flying on the programme both ways. Clearly it was all tongue in cheek. I really couldn't give a f**k that the assembly is in Cardiff as despite you lotwanting to be ruled by Westminster I believe the welsh parliament should be in the capital. No problem. Also no idea why u get so excited about the whole capital thing. Its almost as if you think it gives you something over us. I really couldn't give a shit as don't brummies, mancs, scousers etc.
Did find interesting that despite the claims on here Jonathan owen seemed to suggest you would do anything to get to the premier league. Also interesting what Borley said about swansea having the perfect model and the envy of every club out there. Strange leigh dineen didn't feel he wanted a malaysian dictator at our club. Oh well as long as we keep on being the better team/ club who gives a f**k about assembly and swimming pools.
