Mr Bruni Lowe quoted in the original newspaper article says he was never able to contact Brown to question him about the election expenses he did or did not declare on his signed returns sheet in 2010 so he was removed from the party's representative list immediately.

I suppose that if any concerned member of the public made a simple phone call to the Electoral commission offices in Cardiff pointing them towards AJ Printers in Merthyr then Mr Browns honesty can be verified.

As there is a possible penalty of £5,000 or up to 5 years in jail for false election declarations I would expect Brown would be relieved to have this uncertainty cleared up.

Whether you regard them as fools or not the simple answer is no. The debts were all Adam Browns personal unauthorised spending.

UKIP did settle one of his £350 unpaid bills because they were aware of it during the 28 day period after the election date in which all election bills have to be settled by law and had placed the order with the printer themselves and thus they settled it.


The other bills were Brown running around placing his own personal orders and telling suppliers that UKIP would pick up the bill which of course was a lie.

Any election bills that are not settled within the 28 day period after election are rather bizarrely not allowed to be settled without a court order. UKIP have never been sent a bill by the firms involved as they had no part in ordering any of the supplies and couldn't by law settle any anyway.

Any election expenses are all Adam Brown's legal responsibility as he was his own agent after another current Merthyr councillor who originally agreed to be his agent bailed out early on after realising he was dealing with a clown. What a good judgement he made.


Anyway none of this is about politics, someone pointed out to me some of the ludicrous smearing claims of Brown on here over a period of time against individuals and groups of people so I thought I would set the record straight to those few who might have any lingering doubts as to his honesty or credibility.

He has neither and appears to be the biggest hypocrite in the world to add to his other talents. It is laughable that he presents himself on here as some sort of businessman helping others into work when he has bumped or attempted to bump so many others in the past.

I fully agree with you about involving your wife if these allegations are untrue. She must be very upset? Funnily enough mind its never stopped you from making false allegations against your previous tenants in relation to damage allegedly sustained on your property.

Show me where I have even commented on the Council officer..? and the damage was done before the keys were handed over and the Council advised them to repair everything beforehand which they had 4 months to do.
