No, so far its the money used for Cornelius that could have been better spent elsewhere. The jury is still out on whether that was a good signing or not. Medel is looking like he was worth every penny.
I disagree with you on this one.
Thats fine.
So you think the £30m has been spent poorly? (My original question before the circus)

nobody has dodged your question at all. We have spent nearly 30 million but most of that we would get a return on.
There is no doubt in my mind that if we were to sell our whole squad in a years time we would get more than what we paid.
Would I have liked to have added 1 or 2 more creative players? Yes of course I would.
Do I think we have added enough quality to stay up? Yes I do.
Do I think we'll have more money to spend in january if needed? Yes
All the questions you raised in this thread were answered before you even turned up if you bothered to read it, therefore I will say read the thread again and a lot of your questions have been addressed.

For the amount of money we have spent the squad is still far too unbalanced, lacking pace and genuine attacking quality.
I just dont see 3 worst teams than us. I really dont.

All the stats prove we need to be more attacking. Why is Malky afraid to add more attacking players to the team?

Overthemoon has just made Fulham sound like Real Madrid FFS.
You can make a good solid case for every team in this league, except probably Palace, so should that mean we just go into every game expecting to lose and be delighted with a point cos I tell you what 20 odd draws wont keep us up??
If we had done a Reading and got promoted and spent f*ck all fair enough, expect to go back down but weve spent close to 35 million quid on the squad FFS.

Rubbish easier fixtures so fat that's all they lost to Man City and Norwich and Newcastle are easier fixtures than Everton and West Ham.......

Easier fixtures my arse, theyve played City and Chelsea away and given excellent accounts of themselves. Add that to taking 7 out of 9 points in their other games they are aquitting themselves very well.

Polo, according to the stats sites you were bang on the money with your prediction they have adapted the best. We are second and Palace third which makes sense given the table. Our fans are deluded. Its better to just let them be and they will soon enough wake up.

Tony, I disagree unfortunately mate but you are of course entitled to your opinion as we all are. I see it as a worry as we are letting shots fly at us for fun and inviting pressure on us, a lot more so than any other team. Its not only us out of the promoted teams that have had tough games as every game in this league is tough and we can't just write off a loss vs Spurs and say we'll make it up against the likes of Palace because Palace isn't a given, no game in this division is a given.
2 points from the last 9 is how I see it and I will admit we have played the likes of Everton and Spurs in that time and you could argue Hull was always going to be tough with them eager to prove their worth early on but that is not a good return at all. 4 points is a decent return from that and we should be aiming for a win, a draw and a loss from every three games minimum to stay on track.
We are in desperate need of an attacking outlet and I for one hope you are right in that Odemwingie and Cornelius, when fit, provide that extra quality needed but the fact that Malky has left Noone out when he has flair and unpredictability and can go past players, as proven vs WHU, leaves me bewildered as to what he truly wants from games.
When West Bromwich Albion deployed a similar system they used Long, who has great pace as an outlet to chase down and the midfield pushed up and did the same. They however regained possession better than we are currently doing and they also counter attacked superbly. Malky is being too cautious for my liking and the team is sitting too deep and when you invite pressure on yourself like that then unfortunately, teams like Spurs and United who play until the death, will break you down and punish you.
Malky needs to sort it out.
Marshall
Taylor
Turner
Caulker
Theophile
Medel
Mutch
Noone
Kim
Odemwingie
Campbell
is what i'd go with as that can be perfect on the counter attack and with Noone and Odemwingie pushing up it becomes a 4-3-3 formation with Kim sitting in just behind to create. If that doesn't work and we cant break them down then bring on Whittingham, Cowie and Gestede (Cornelius when fit) and start putting balls into the box and change the game plan using a plan B. It makes us less predictable on the whole if we have 2 plans to use and it means we can change it mid game and try and get a result if our plan A isn't working.

I do believe we can beat them but the problem is with this forum is that some of the people on it are so predictable.
If everyone was doom and gloom about playing fulham I'd probably be posting the opposite to what I have posted above but you and I both know what will happen:
The team sheet will be on here at about 2:45 and mr moo cow and a few others will be saying stuff like ffs malky how is cowie playing etc.
3:25 blubird1977 will come on hoofball again and a bunch of other drivvle followed by a few ayatollahs.
3:45 1-0 at half time the whole board goes into meltdown. We are now the worst team on the planet
4:00 more drivvle from bluebird1977
Including the stats of how many shots on goal we've had compared to them 'ayatollah'
4:20 we equalise and everybody calms down a bit.
4:40 we score the winner and everyone is wanking apart from some former fans who now log out.
5:00 we're the best team ever and malky should be knighted. Bring bayern munich and barca
Same time same thing next week
