History- Identity & Pride along with tradition are worth fighting for.

Over a hundred years of history and heritage is being eradicated to make way for a new product.

When did we lose our history? What new product, we are still playing football as CCFC the last time I looked?

We wanted to see Cardiff City Fc in the Premiership !

Not just the Premiership in Cardiff....

Cardiff City FC are in the Premiership, or was it really all a dream?

A club IS it's Badge and Colours, Whatever position we are in that is what you hold on to and support.

What a load of tosh. A football club is so much more than it's badge and colours. We've changed badge so many times before anyway!

Whilst I disagree with the rebrand, MJW's points are all correct.

Although I do understand that to many, a red CCFC with a dragon is not the same CCFC. Something I can sympathise with.

We have deviated away from our historical and traditional colours

Cardiff City FC are in the Premiership, or was it really all a dream?

Dreaming? Not sure but You may well have sleep walked to your PC for this response, as She never denied Cardiff being in the Premiereship, Her point was that it has come at to great a cost to the identity of our club and how fans relate to it.

Why are you denying that fans right across europe identify strongly with these tribal symbols and colours affiliated to their own club, I find that odd.
Our badged has been tweeked but not the same as Tans change.I find You odd for thinking it's not against footballing tradition. Perplexing.

Hypocrite alert....

Where has she had a go at another supporter? Aren't you just a "nobody" under an Internet username having a go at another supporter?

In the grand scheme of things yes I am a nobody just like you are despite your best attempts at passive aggressiveness
Examples wheres she had a go at another supporter? try any number of her poorly worded egotistical statements.

We have deviated away from our historical and traditional colours

How does this mean we have lost our history? As far as I see we are still 1927 FA Cup winners. Lots of teams have changed colours and badge and it hasn't meant they have lost their history so why us?

Her comment was ....'We wanted to see Cardiff City Fc in the Premiership !

Not just the Premiership in Cardiff....'

Which implies she doesn't see the team competing in the Premiership as Cardiff City.

Tweaked? The change to the st davids flag was a massive change for one!
People identify strongly with many things about a football club, not just the colour and badge. My point was CCFC is far more than just a colour and a badge.

Exactly. And when I started supporting city we were seen as a stinking selling club of no note whatsoever. You can stick that tradition up your arse.

Not sure what this means (to me anyway)

History- Identity & Pride along with tradition are worth fighting for.

History - Accomplishments and dates are facts- interpretation of the facts are opionions - Not sure what we are Fighting for

Identity - We are a hooligan club who many would have been happy to put down over the previous three decades.

Pride - We all take pride in different things

One thing they are missing - A Mandate, from a promising introduction the message just hasn't resonated to enough normal rank and file fans.... The alienation of the masses has played into their enemy's hand.

So stinking, you kept going back to this day ;)

I'm not sure first timers this year will still be going with the new 'customer' ethos this club has adopted.

It looks like bluebirds unite have painted themselves in to a corner and i can't see how they can get out of it.
With statements like this and others they've isolated themselves terribly, poor leadership, poor organization and it seems supporters of bluebirds unite aren't willing to question the leadership on the running of the group and we're their heading.

There's a solid core of maybe 3-5 hundred in Bu but unless they start challenging the leadership on the way things are run these numbers will probably decrease and ultimately the group will cease to exist.

I reckon they might be fed up of trying to please their critics who have no real intention of fighting for blue on any level. Yet constantly pretend they'd join if only BU employed tactic X or Y. Ironicly BU might have more respect from the club as a fringe element with a bit of edge. who knows.

You were on ignore,

Lies. You still keep answering.

this was not a direct reply to anything you have said. More a general reply as I was brought up again by you and others (I saw your posts embedded as quotes in other people's posts.

Lies. You quoted me in your last response. I do not have you on ignore, you have me on ignore. You are a compulsive liar. In your last comments you quoted me as well so the notion it was a general reply is bullshit as you specifically aimed a thread and question at me.

You've been on ignore and will remain on ignore until you learn to stop trolling.

Lies. You just can't help yourself Barry. You put me on ignore then still answer me.

PS regarding the badge, as I've said many times before - I'm not that bothered about the badge... Modernise away, it doesn't bother me. Of course, it doesn't suit your agenda to admit that, does it?

I have no agenda. I couldn't care less frankly about your opinion, hence me finding it annoying you continuously repeating it.

As for Barnett now admitting that he's a pro-red....

viewtopic.php?t=120946

Laughable.

You and your constant posts have made me become a pro red. If it means getting rid of fans like yourself then im all for it. There will be plenty new fans to take up your seats. The pro blues who do their own thing peacefully, they got my respect and I'll want them to stay but the likes of you and the other constant thread destroyers etc. like Bluebird 37, I couldn't care less.

Take that as you will.

I have said it before so I hope I am not being boring .

All my life (I'm 66) i have had principles, and until the last few years i was " a bit of a lad" and enjoyed shall we say a colorful life and used to do some stupid things. The last few years I have sussed a lot of things, one of the things I do know a fair amount about through experience is, money can manipulate people in the respect that any billionaire that exists has probably done it by very clever manipulation and good on em I say. They are without exception surrounded by yes men, so they believe what these people tell em , even though they still do as they think.
The one thing Mr Tan CANNOT do anything about is many people wearing BLUE especially when the game is being televised.
BU would be far better off spending their donations getting more people wearing BLUE during a televised matches.
In my opinion a ferkin great poster by a bridge is all very well but the money would have better spent on getting a few thousand A3 BLUE plackards and just do a givaway in the pubs , or on the entrance to CCS and all show em in front of the Sky cams during games. Sky would love it. Tan would cringe!!!
Bloody Crumton Oaks Cider aint bad either.
