UPDATED LIST OF PUBS SHOWING HULL C V CARDIFF CITY GAME LIVE

Watched it at Canton Sports Bar, was excellent there. Cheap drinks & good TV coverage.

Our first time with the new system. Around 150 in to watch the city game. One screen in the bar, one in the pool room and our back room had Sky Sports on at the same time. Excellent coverage with a tiny amount of buffering. Lots of new faces at the pub and loads of nice comments. No copyright issues either as the logos were blurred

Captains Table in Saundersfoot had the game on. no problems a few city in there as well
would like to thank Gareth the assistant manager who was very welcoming, nice pub and would recomend it to anyone who is down that way and wanting to catch a game on the tv.
just give them a ring a day or 2 before the game and they will tell you if they will have the game on (depending on what other games k/o the same time)

If a pub signs up to the proper commercial Sky package do they only get to show the normal live Sky games or do they get access to the Saturday 3pm kick-offs as well?

Yes had a great time at the Mountain Ash Inn yeserday great welcome only problem I had was when Cardiff scored I jumped up and spilled a table of drinks had to buy them all fresh ones, apologies to the landlord Tony for wetting the furniture. Its going to be an expensive year if I caay on like that, keep up the good work Tony

The Angel on maesycwmmer hill was very good yesterday . The feed was pretty much uninterrupted and free food at half time . Very busy too . Will be returning.

I was there too, good atmo, enjoyed chip butties at half time - Whitts goal was a peach, didn't realise how low that ceiling is in the back until then

Bizarrely bumped into a fella who sits right behind me in the Ninian - never knew we both came from Ystrad! Now that's being daft!! Its all bull***t, a rep from SKY was sat there with us last week, all banners out posters on the walls TV on and I have several witnesses there to prove it!! They seen the banners outside came in with a clipboard and tried to give us a better deal, but because they work on rateable value they couldn't touch our current deal with a barge pole!!

Wez is correct. It's nothing to do with Sky and you're right that your local Sky rep won't do anything about it. It's the corporate security firm ID who will though(They've been hired by the Premier League) and photos like these is just what they're sub contracting local security services to gather for them. Don't make their job any easier

its not sky that take you to court its g4s and the premier league mate i wouldnt say it if it wasnt true some people are taking a chance ,i could of payed 250 for a aljazeera system of global iptv but it doesnt take the badges off i paid alot more but im legal

100% correct tony ,since the karren murphy and qc leisure won there battle with sky and the premier league in court last year ,the premier league has been going through and trying to prosecuted through the copyright laws instead and employing fact and through different sub contractors to investigate ,the sky area rep has said that if you have sky as well as this system they wont even turn up to your pub but if you havnt got sky they are investigating ,the premier league badge at the bottom right hand corner also the badge on the clock must be removed or they will and have prosecuted landlords for breaching copyright ,also the premier league tried recently prosecuting for copy right a land lord in england with the same system as me from the same surpiler because when there badge appeared before a replay the premier league claimed this broke there copyright but the courts ruled that that's not part of the live transmission there fore not breaking the laws

yeah know fact for years since the murphy case they were going to go down that route thats why the new season systems take the branding off

as long as the premierleague athem before kick off and logos at the bottom right hand corner and by the scores are covered they cannot claim copyright on other companies broadcasts the guy in swansea had these showing
