Clearly you were a Liverpool fan before Swansea got in premier league judging by the way you go on about them. Plastic and a troll. Liverpool were only good in 70s and 80s. Horrible club that thinks its better than it is-bit like the jbs.

Yeah clearly :laughing6:

Liverpool have a more successful history than chelsea in living memory, whether that was over 1 or 2 decades is irrelevant. They have a bigger fanbase as a result.

We are more successful than you in living memory meaning we have a bigger fanbase than you, just how it works im afraid.

Nope, because they are now in the championship and didnt consistantly sell out so fan base was transparent even at their peak.

In the last 50 years you have played 2 top flight matches and won nothing of any note :laughing6:

We have played 5 seasons of top flight football, qualified for europe through the english system (the proper way), won a major trophy and finished in the top 10. :thumbright:

You really are clutching at straws roathie. Get over it. Cardiff are a bigger club with a bigger fan base. Look at the statistics. However you are causing us great amusement on here and getting more hits on a Ccfc website which by your perverse logic surely proves that we are bigger than you.

Look at the stats roathie. We have more fans than you by a long way. Use twitter or whatever else to clutch at straws but crowd figures and fans on databases prove my point that the biggest team in Wales is Cardiff City. When you can have bigger crowds than us on a consistent basis you may win the argument.

The stats say we are more successful therefor trends would suggest we have a bigger fanbase, and selling out every game almost instantly and consistantly for three seasons straight supports that. Times have changed and we are a different animal now, you may get there one day, lots of work to be done though

Re: 27,000 +

Mon Aug 26, 2013 2:05 pm

The stats say we've had bigger attendances for years. :laughing6:

The stats also claim that we are more successful...

2012-2013 Avg. Attendence; Cardiff = 22,998, Swansea = 20,370
2010-2011 Avg. Attendance (last time at same level) Cardiff = 22,091, Swansea 15,507
Total seasons in top-flight; Cardiff = 16, Swansea = 5
Highest ever league finish; Cardiff = 2nd, Swansea = 6th
Current League position; Swansea = 11th, Cardiff = 20th
FA Cups; Cardiff = 1, Swansea = 0
League Cups; Cardiff = 0, Swansea = 1
Welsh Cups; Cardiff = 22, Swansea = 10
Head-to-Head wins; Cardiff = 43, Swansea = 35

Looks like we take 8 of 9.

Wales' all-time most successful club? Yes.
Biggest club in Wales (past and present)? Yes.

Chelsea

03 Cole
04 Luiz
24 Cahill
28 Azpilicueta
07 Ramires (Lampard - 71' )
10 Mata
11 Oscar (Marin - 83' )
17 Hazard
09 Torres (Ba - 81')

The reportw as Liverpool - they were 8th in the league, meaningless last game of the season - no comparison.

And that Chelsea game WAS a cup game. We beat them in the Cup when we were in division 4. FFS they even had a Cardiff reject in goal (Turnbull - as you probably hadn't heard of football when he was with us)

Scraping the barrel.

 classic.

Now whats your excuse with arsenal 3-2, arsenal 2-0 and man city 1-0? :laughing6:

Why do I need an excuse, I'm not denying you have done wonderfully well in the last 2 seasons, beating an Arsenal side who are struggling to make Europe is good, very good and the 3-2 game was excellent, not on the same level as yesterday though. Beating a decent Man City 1-0 was however a great performance and a result equal to ours yesterday. However given the fact it was our first day back in the top flight and we were among the favourites to go down I don't think overall it matches this .

So, why haven't you extended your stadium so you can fit all your twitter followers in

Because they have 6000 extra seats... Which is the average attendance they were getting less than a decade ago funnily enough

Which is double you were also getting 10 years ago. :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

Apparently the expansion due to be done this summer to the West Stand has been abandoned, and the overall 32k plan scaled back, but they have planning to do the other stands, 3800 more seats for next season, and if the full works are done will take them up to appx. 30000 due to be done over 3-5 years depending on demand (basically depending on staying up - as if they are successful then 30k could well be filled)

What a tool, we are the number one team in Wales always have been and always have been, when Chelsea were in a lower League than Fulham, they were always a bigger club, the difference between us, is and always will be similar.......

Yes we are. We are talking living memory here. Not 100 years ago when the game wasn't even professional. Living memory, 50 years ago is a good benchmark considering the vast majority of fans would be 60 and under.

Since then we have had 5 seasons in the top flight, finished in the top half, won a major trophy and qualified through europe through the proper way.
